I heard my mother yell from downstairs.

I looked at them and tilted my head to the side in confusion.

My mother spoke.

'Um, jungkook, me and your father woke you up early because this..this is the last time you're gonna see us both for a while."

I looked at them, my mother, then my father, confusion and sadness took over, my eyes started to water.

"W-why, don't leave me, stay, pleASE!"

I ran to them and hugged them both. I love my parents, they're my best friends, my everything.

My father then spoke.

"Yah, jungkook-ah, we're leaving on a business trip, we'll only be gone till February."

I looked at him, my head down in embarrassment.

I giggled and wiped my tears.

"O-oh, okay, sorry for over reacting."

"Um, jungkook, we also don't want you here alone, so we got the nieghbor's son to babysit you."

"B-but..i- he- I'm fine on my own." I said as I pouted.

My mother held me in a tight hug." Ah, kookie, you always think you're tough, you still act like a little baby. " She said as she squeezed my cheeks.
