Sarah Blood Chronicles: The beginning

Chapter four

    I looked up to see who or what I ran into.

"Oh my, are you alright?"

Oh wow....What the hell is up with all these cute boys.

"I-I'm fine." I said feeling my face get warm.

"I'm Darien by the way. You don't happen to be Sarah Blood are you?" he asked.

"Ya that's me. Why?" I asked.

"Well the headmaster asked me to find you and bring you to him," he told me.

"Oh, okay," I said as I tried to get up.

      He offered me his hand, I grabbed his hand and he helped me up. After a moment of silence I said,"You can let go of my hand now."

"Oh.....but I-i don't really want to though," he told me as he began to blush.

       I blushed some and we continued walking down the hall with him holding my hand. We stopped infront of a door and he drops my hand. Darien knocks on the door and then he opens the door.

  

      He walks in and I follow slowly. I look up and saw something that really surprised me. There was a teenager about my age behind the desk.

"Ah Miss Blood, I'm glad to see you made it here safely."

"What's that suppose to mean and who are you?" I asked him.

"I'm headmaster Karizeki and I heard that you were attacked by something. Would you mind telling me what it looked like?" Karizeki asked.

"Um sure. The thing had pitch black eyes, sharp horns coming out of it's head and had a ghostly pale body with a hole in it's chest." I told him.

       He looked surprised at what I had said, so did Darien. Karizeki was silent for awhile. Until he finally said something.

"So he finally decided then," Karizeki said.

"I guess so but why her? There must be something about her that he wants." Darien said.

       Then the voice in my head started talking.

Stupid human

'how are we stupid'

your not stupid

'but I'm human'

ha! your only part human

'what! how?'

i can't tell you that....it could get me into some trouble

'oh...okay'

i better go before they get suspicious see ya sweet heart.

"Sarah, you okay?" Darien asked.

"Ya, I'm just tired." I told him.

"Why don't you go show her where she will be staying Darien," Karizeki said.

"Okay." Darien said as he grabbed my hand again.

      We walked down the hallway when of course Matt down the hall with his arm around another girl. I stiffened and Darien looked at what I was looking at. I saw anger in his eyes and he brought me a little closer to him.

      Matt looked up and saw me. In his eyes were full of lust and jealousy. I looked away from him and I turned around and dragged Darien with me.

      We turned the corner and Darien asked,"So what did that do to you?"

"When we got here he was kissing some girl, then he took me away from someone I was talking to and kissed me and now he is with another girl. He is really pissing me off." I told him.

"I wouldn't do that to you.....you're much more prettier than the girls here." he said blushing.

"Thanks." I said blushing.

     I kissed his cheek and walked down the hall. He followed me with a goofy grin on his face.
