Sarah Blood Chronicles: The beginning

Chapter One

Have you ever have that feeling that something is watching you? Well I have that feeling pretty much everyday. But I'm getting ahead of myself.

My name is Sarah Blood. I'm 16 years old and yes I know my last name sounds weird but get over it. I'm not someone you would want to hang out with for one reason. Bad things always happen when you are alone with me.

Right now I'm on my way to a school for kids with special talents. All these kids look like they dropped out of school. I'm looking out the window when I was asked,"C-c-can I sit with you?"

The girl had long black hair, the hair covered part of her face but what surprised me the most was how small she was.

"Sure. Go ahead," I said as I moved my bag.

"T-thanks......my name is Crystal. What's your name?" She asked.

"Sarah. Sarah Blood." I told her as I went back looking out the window.

We rode in silence for a while until I was hit in the back of the head with a paper ball. I turned to see who did it and I saw a white haired goth looking person smirking at me. I rolled my eyes and turned back around to see Crystal looking at me.

"What?" I asked.

"......He likes you." she told me.

"Who? The boy with the white hair?" I asked.

"Ya. He thinks that there's something about you that wants to be seen." she told me.

"Or he may be a perv," I told her.

"That could be it too," she said trying no to laugh.

I smiled and I go back looking out the window as we passed farms. Out of the corner of my eye I saw him move up seats till he was directly behind me.

"Hey you," he said, but I ignored him.

Then he pulled my hair.

"What the hell," I said turning around looking half angry and half hurt.

"You didn't respond so I did something to make you respond," he told me.

"Well you didn't have to pull so hard."

" Sorry....so what's your name," he asked me.

"My name is Sarah. What's yours?"

"Matt......" he told me quietly.

I looked at him when the bus suddenly stopped. I stood up and looked around. Then I jumped over the seat to see what happened. I looked at the driver. The air bag had been activated but there was nothing to have caused it.

"What happened?" Matt asked.

"I don't know.......I don't think we will be going anywhere soo..." something hit the bus cutting me off.

I looked down and noticed I landed on top of Matt. Matt looked surprised as I was, then he realized that I was on top of him. He blushed some. I quickly got up and opened the bus doors, then I stepped out with Matt following close behind.

"What the hell is going on? What caused the bus to be hit?" he asked.

I didn't say anything. I walked around the bus and when I got to the other side, I about screamed at what I saw. The creature was tall with pitch black eyes, sharp horns coming out of its head. Its body was ghostly white with a hole in its chest. Matt comes up behind me.

"Hey are you......" he looks at what I'm staring at,"what is that thing?" he asked in a whisper.

The creature looked at Matt and then it looked at me. I moved away from Matt and the creature moved with me. Then I ran towards the woods with the creature following close behind me. I heard Matt scream my name, but I kept running.

I tripped over a tree root. The creature came pinning me to the ground. The creature broke my arm and I screamed a blood curdling scream, then something happened. My body started to have a purplish-black fog surround my body.

The creature had a look of fear in its eyes. I moved the arm that the creature broke and it didn't hurt. I moved toward the creature, the creature backed up until the creature fell in the river. I looked in the river and I about screamed.

My image had changed, my blue eyes had turned blood red and I had animal ears on my head. I started to hear Matt coming my way.

"Sarah!Where are you?" Matt yelled out.

"I'm.....over here," I yelled back.

I went up a tree and waited. I felt sick for a minute, then I felt my head. My ears were gone. Then I fell out of the tree and when I opened my eyes I was in Matt's arms. I felt my face get hot. I got out of Matt's arms.

"You okay?" he asked.

"Ya....I'm fine."

He looks at me for a moment then walks towards the river.
