Sarah Blood Chronicles: The beginning

Chapter six

  i would like to thank my friend sarah for bugging me to write the story and being my inspiration for this book.

     Its so dark....I can hear screaming but I can't see anything. Then it went quiet.

       What the hell is going on here. It was all quiet then the screaming began. I ran outside of my room to see what was happening, man I wish I didn't though. There was blood everywhere, bodies littering the floor. I need to find Sarah before he does.

"Darien, what the hell is going on?" Alica asked.

"I don't know sis, but my guess i that he is after something."

"Or someone," Alica said.

       Alica could be right but I hope not.....for Sarah's sake. I run towards Alica's room avoiding the bodies and creatures. I reach the door and I try to open it but the door wouldn't open. Something was blocking the door.

"Damn it," I said," what is blocking the damn door."

       I guess I'm going to have to find another way. I think there is a way in from the library, but its hard to get to.

"Darien, we have to hurry." Alica yelled.

"Don't you think I know that, we will have to go through the library to get in."

"Are you telling me that we can't go through the door?" she asked.

"Yes you moron, there's something blocking the door."

"Oh, well lets go," Alica said as she started to run towards the library.

      I mentally face palm, then I run after her. I swear, she's going to be the death of me. We run for a bit dodging the flying bodies and monsters.

"Just a bit farther," Alica said.

"Hold up, you know where the library is," I say in disbelief.

"Ya, how else do I get my work do-"

"We don't have time for this."

      We get to the library and of course, something was waiting for us. The thing looked what Sarah described to me and Karizeki.

Wouldnt it be mean of me to end it right here buuuuut i might just continue on

"What the hell is that thing," Alica asked.

"Remember when the bus of new kids were late'"

"Ya," she said.

"That thing stopped the bus and went after Sarah."

"So you mean that he is making his move NOW!" Alica yells at me.

     I don't say anything as I take out my sword. I walk slowly towards the unholy creature. The creature turn towards me and comes at me. I roll out of the way as the creature lunges at me.

"W-whats going on?"

   

    I look up and see a little girl with long black hair and purple eyes. She looks at the creature.

"So they are real," she says as she holds up her hand as it begins to glow.

"What do you mean? Who are you and what are you doing?" I ask.

"Something I often do to the shadows that follow me." She told me as the creature growls.

 

      She mumbles something under her breath and the creature begins to glow as it begins to bleed. Alica looks at me with her eyes wide in shock. Then the creature explodes, Alica and I were covered in blood while the girl didn't have a spot of blood on her.

"Who are you?" Alica asked.

"My name is Crystal (i accidently forgot about her...oops) and im trying to find Sarah." Crystal said.

"Well we have to get to her from the library," I explained to Crystal.

   She nods her head and enters the library with Alica. I sigh and follow right behind making sure there isn't anymore of those things. The library was lightly lit giving a spooky glow to the area.

"Are we getting close...something doesn't feel right," Crystal said as she walked close to me.

"Ya, I agre," Alica didn't finish as a hand went through her stomach.

   Her eyes widen as she spits out blood.

"ALICA!!!" I scream as the hand disappears back into the darkness.

  I watch as she drops to the floor, life already gone out of her eyes.

"We must hurry Darien if not they're going to take Sarah." Crystal told me as I try to get over the fact that my sister is dead.

"Y-ya," I grab Crystals hand and we run towards the books.

"Do you know which one it is?" She asked.

"I think so, Alica said that its the third bookshelf away from the last window farthest away from the door. Fifth book from the bottom." I told Crystal.

   She nods and runs over to the book shelves looking.
You know its your fault that Alicas dead
'No...it cant be'
But it is and your family isn't going to be happy

"Darien...don't listen to the voice...you only give it strength." Crystal said.

"Right"
