I walk around the school campus feeling liberated from Cy's control. I don't feel the strong urge to follow commands but it is in my natural instinct to protect and be loyal to him. I came back from the dead in hopes to live a better life, a second chance that I longed for. Instead I'm working for a talking shapeshifter fish.
I continue to walk around the school campus as my senses search for Malia Hale. Malia has a different smell to her, not like Scott or Liam. I track her were-coyote scent down, and follow it as Derek follows behind from behind. As we walk closer into the building that I smell her in I begin to feel different. I pause and stop feeling the urge to kill.
Cy must be out of range, he's too far for his mind to reach out to me. I stop becoming conscious with what I think and how I behave, knowing Cy won't find out and rip me into pieces. I need to get out of Beacon Hills, run far away from here.
If Stiles is as smart as I hope he is, he would've found the note I left behind in my book at the old hideout. Cy is dangerous and too powerful for any of us. Cy has many abilities that I didn't even know a siren could have, which is an advantage to his plan.
I look over at Derek as he still looks like he is in control of Cy. I don't hesitate and look over at him and grab his arm to stop him from walking any further. "Derek." I growl and he stops turning towards me. "Do you feel it? He's not in control of us anymore." I say and Derek looks around confused, his mind can't comprehend what's happening.
"What's happening?" He growls and takes his hand back. He looks back at me backing away and then looks around. "Why are we here?" Derek says and I look at him as he's been fully unaware of what has been happening, this isn't what Cy did to me. I know what Cy did to me, he made me fall in love with him. He sirened me.

"You don't know what you've been doing have you?" I ask him and he shakes his head with his eyes wide open. Suddenly the lunch bell rings and I see everyone walking around the campus with their friends. I recognize each and every one of these faces from before and they recognize me.
"Theo? Where the hell have you been?" I hear a familiar voice, and I turn around seeing Lyn, the swim team captain. He walks over to me with his crystal clear bright blue eyes like Cy's and hugs me tightly. I don't comfort Lyn entirely and look around to find Derek missing from my side as he's completely gone!
