I have become a shadow amongst my friends
I blend into the background.
I'm only there when there is too much light for me to handle.
I am foreign to tough.
However, everyone walks all over me.
Despite all that I'm against,
I'll do anything for your smile,
So I stretch and twist
and form a funny, off-kilter version of you.
And everyone laughs at the peculiar tricks they say the sun is playing
