Chapter 2

As I became conscious I noticed that everything was black and that pain was coming from my wings all the way to my back and my head pounding hard. I could barely remember what had happened beforehand, The last thing I remembered was the cold sensation of water surrounding me... Though I don't feel water, I felt warm. My body felt weak and heavy, I felt like I was being suppressed by a large object. I struggled to open my eyes as it stung awfully like my eyelids were sown together, light started to fill the darkness in my vision slowly focusing on my surroundings. It took a few moments to register it all.

I was tucked into a bed of baby blue duvets in a small room of plain cream walls lit up by the window to my right. I don't recall ever being here before. I winced as I began to sit up, sharp pains running up my back to the ends of my wings and my headache grew stronger making it hard to concentrate, Too weak to fight it I collapse back onto the bed breathing heavily, The springs squeaking from my weight.

The door opens and a man appears from outside the door, slowly closing it behind him

"You're finally awake,"

I groaned with frustration as I walked up the stairs, If the others found out I saved an Angel my reputation would go down the drain specially that I've taken her in.. I could just left her there to die but I didn't. I took her home with me.

I walked up to the guest room I left her in and opened the door

"You're finally awake," I raised an eyebrow

The angel stared at me blankly for a few moments whispering something to herself as she stared. I watched and waited for an answer. her eyes sudden grew wide and backed up against the bed board trembling

"Get away y-you demon!"

"Is that the thank you I get for saving you?" I reply walking closer to the bed watching her panic.

"Where am I? What happened?" she asked shakily watching me warily.

"Well, This is my house... That I'm renting. You fell from the sky. I Saved you, There,"

"B-but you're a demon?" not noticing that she was at the edge of the bed, she backed away more until she fell. Grabbing onto her shirt to stop her, I ended up ripping her shirt. She screamed landing with a loud thud, crying out in agony.

She whimpered pulling the blanket off the bed wrapping it around herself trembling in fear
"Typical Angel," I scowled walking around the bed picking her up and dumping her onto the bed be, She yelped in pain hiding under the blanket.
"Quit hiding and let me look at you're wounds,"

She didn't respond, I groaned and yanked the blanket off her, She screamed backing up against the headboard hugging her bare upper body. Her shirt in bits.

"I'm not going to bite, yet. If you behave I will too,"
I rolled my eyes walking to the closet and pulling out a plain tee shirt throwing it to her

"Use that for now, I expect you to be downstairs in 10 minutes. I'll drag you down if you're late," I told her, this made her tremble even more. I shook my head and chuckled walking towards the door, She's lucky I'm keeping her alive though not for long I thought to myself. I exited the room and as I closed the door, I heard the little thing squeak a..

"T-thank you,"

I know it's short, Well I think it is. Sorry that it took long to update this. Been busy and kind of lost interest but I'm desperate to get this story done so I'll try write up more faster :)
