LALISA MANOBAN

lalisa slammed the door to her dorm closed, panting. it wasn't as if she was a celebrity! why were people chasing her?

jennie kim, her new friend as of this year, who studied in the management department, looked up from her phone. "seems like you've had an eventful evening."

lisa huffed. "i didn't want to have an eventful meeting. i was just meeting up with a friend from my dance class at the lounge. but this friend's friend ended up shouting my name because he claimed to recognize me, and then all of a sudden people started chasing me."

"are any of them outside?"

"no, i managed to hide so they would get off my trail, then i went in the opposite direction and took the long route."

"well, you reek of sweat, and you're in terrible need of a shower."

"thanks for the compliment," lisa deadpanned.

lisa laughed as jennie tossed her sleek hair over her shoulder, posed, and made a ridiculous face. she already knew this girl would be one of her best friends.

i mean they did live together.

lisa sighed, talking to herself out loud as she waited for jjk. "why does it feel like i haven't seen him in so long?" she rolled over on her side, pouting. "it's almost as if i can't remember his face... it shouldn't be like that! i miss him so much! but maybe i won't see him today... if he pulls a stupid all-nighter or something."

as the two got older, they realized they would have to want to be in the dream world when their eyes were closed, otherwise, nothing would happen. for instance, if one of them went to bed without thinking of the other or the dream world, they didn't appear.

it tended to happen often as the two were preparing for college, and as they got accustomed to the school. they missed each other, but regardless, they were too fatigued to think of each other.

lisa laid down, wrapping the fluffy sheets around her. she closed her eyes, wishing jjk would come. she truly missed him.

tears leaked from her eyes as she wrapped herself in a cocoon. suddenly, a thumb swiped across her cheek, wiping her tears.

a voice mumbled, "why are you crying, princess?"

jjk. lisa opened her eyes. his face was a bit blurry at first, but lisa just assumed it was because of her watery eyes. she rubbed them and smiled, hugging him tightly after unwrapping herself from the cocoon.
