Carly's POV
'School would be starting soon.' I thought. Today I'm going to Vanity's house for a sleepover. She's my best friend. We always hangout together. I got a warm bath and changed into off shoulder flared sleeve black and white stripe blouse with white short jeans.
"Mom, I will be going to my friend's house for a sleepover!" I shouted from upstairs as I packed my bag with charger, phone, stationery, laptop and some information I had gathered this morning. There's something I actually needed to ask her. She could sometimes predict future, and it was accurate most of the time except when we tried to change it.
"Take the house key, I won't be home tomorrow, take care of yourself, okay?" Mom said to me as she handed me the house key and a bottle of water. "Okay, I will, don't worry, Mom," I said as I blew her kiss goodbye. Mom had always been supportive of me. Even though she did not support me on writing, I know she wanted the best for me.
I enjoyed the scenery as I walked down the street. Finally I reached Vanity's house.
Vanity's POV
"Knock, knock," door was knocked twice.
"Who's there?" I asked.
"It's meeeeee" said a high voice.
"Coming!" I said as I quickly walked up to the door and opened it.
"You have finally come," I welcomed Carly into my house. "Why? I didn't come late, did I?" Carly asked. "This is complicated, I got to tell you something," I said as I locked the door and the windows. "What's so important?" she asked. "Shhh," I said.
"I discovered something this afternoon," I said as I took out an old thick book with the title 'Communication'. "What's this?" she asked. I opened the book and there were only blank pages. I wrote some words on the first page with language that no one could understand, not even myself.
I found myself writing words that I did not recognise and did not understand. I felt something was controlling me. "What are you writing?" Carly asked. "I... I don't know," I said helplessly. It wasn't stopping, it kept writing until the full page and it stopped.
"You don't know what you're writing?" she asked.
"Nope, I don't, I don't even control it!" I said.
"That's not possible!" she said.
"Shh, keep it down, I think it's trying to tell me something," I said.
Words started appearing on the second page. "Future is something human can neither change nor predict. The world's peace or war, depends on the 5 non-human." That was all it said.
What did it mean by non-human? What was it trying to say?
"So, what do we even do now?" Carly asked.
"I don't know," I said.
"You could predict, can't you?" she asked.
"I could... but what does it mean by that?" I asked.
"We could figure that out," she said.
I had a feeling told me that it was related to Carly.
"Hey, anything strange happened lately with you?" I asked.
"About that, I was going to tell you..." she said as she took out her laptop.
"What about it?" I asked.
"Look what I had found," she said as she showed me the camera film. The last time I predicted that someone near her house might be spying on her. I just got that kind of feeling. I suggested her to place a hidden camera inside the guy's house. She managed to sneaked into his house and placed a hidden camera in his room where he could observe her from.
