Journal Entry #1 (Syrus)

Okay before I start this, I want you all to know that this will switch between Syrus and Zane, 'cause we're following both of them. Also, Syrus will mostly have journal entries, but there will be some normal parts, and Zane will have all normal parts. Now let's start this off!

Date: September 15th

Aww man, today was really weird! First off, Jaden just managed to defeat Professor Viper in a duel, but not a minute later this glowing figure appears and I'm separated from the others (not to mention knocked out). When I woke up, I was lying in a soft bed with a few strange people surrounding it.

Needless to say I started to panic, but they soon calmed me down and told me that they had been waiting for me for a while. When I asked them what they meant, the oldest one - Chie I think her name was - explained that the mythical Pokemon Mew would bring a human from another universe to their world to become a trainer and help save the world.

I was tempted to argue with her (as I thought that was crazy even for someone like her), but then I remembered all the other things that happened in my world that have been weirder, so I stayed quiet and agreed.

What happened after that was something I'll always remember: As I began to sit up, the cutest brown fox-like creature leaped up onto the bed, stood on its hind legs and put its front paws on my chest in excitement.

"Eevee!" the creature had cheered, it's brown eyes sparking in wonder.

I had laughed and asked Chie who the little fox was, while it nuzzled against my cheek. The girl who was my age - her name is Samantha, but she goes by Sammy - said it was an Eevee and asked me if I wanted to keep it. I answered 'yes' without hesitation, and the Eevee jumped up-and-down in joy.

Sammy then questioned what I wanted to nickname it, she also told me it was a female. I looked down at the Eevee to think of a name her, then our eyes met, and the perfect name for her came into my mind: Angel.

Yup, her name is Angel, 'cause to me she was as cute was one. Oh! Before I forget, as I'm writing this Angel is currently laying on my head watching me write in curiosity, it's adorable. Anyway, tomorrow is the true start of my journey through this new world, and I'm a little nervous. But I'm not doing it alone as Sammy is getting her first Pokemon tomorrow too, so we'll travel together.

Before I end this entry off, I wanna put this: I am worried about Jaden and the others, I hope they're okay. I don't think I'll be able to go back anytime soon, so I might as well get comfy in this world. But the thing I'm most worried about, is how Zane is gonna react to all this, I sure hope he doesn't freak out too much.

Alright, Sammy just told me we should head to bed and Angel is yawning, so I'm calling it a night. I'll try and keep these journal entries daily, but that might not always be the case.
