Deep in the Dark

Chapter 2

I woke up to peter slightly running his hand up and down my face.

"hey storm,"

"hey peter, is lucy up yet,"

"yes up and dressed and already at summers house,"

I sat up slowly, my eyes still agusting to the light. I started to get dressed I then grabed my knife and headed to wards the woods. I heard a rusle in the trees and I tillted my head slightly and then suddently spun round right in the head of a squirrial. Suddently the horn blew that ment it was time for someone it be sent into the alcove I broke into a slight jog, I just got there in time the guards then shoved me into line with all the other girl my age " peter Davies" my heart stopped I suddently lost contoll and started to shout his name franicaly he looked back slowly.

"stop stop, please stop his mother went in there his father is dead please please stop, I will take his place."

Peter then shouted "no no, don't storm I will go,"

The crowed fell still the guards pushed peter back into his line and heavily shoved me towards the alcove, I could see peter brutally trying to push his way towards me,

"NO, STORM WHAT ABOUT LUCY SHE NEED YOU DON'T I WILL GO!"

I started back at him for a moment

"I will be alright please look after Lucy"

I couldn't hear what he was then shouting behind me. Rapidly a thought flew through my mind, the crack, the crack in the wall the one that crumbled apart I could try to escape through it.

Finally I came face to face with the alcove. I was breathing so heavily, they moved the boulder, all I could see was a pitch black tunnel. I fealt a bead of sweat trikel down my forhead. The guard from behind shoved me violently down onto the dirt floor of the alcove. I could hear lucy and peter screaming behind me, I could feel my heart in my ears.

   I quickly picked my self off the floor and broke into a sprint to try and get away from the loud bang that the bolder will make when they close the entrance of the alcove. I came to a split I took the right tunnel looking for the hole in the wall I took two more rights and saw shophie's shirt ripped covered in rotting blood all over the floor, I tured away and carryed on running I could feal my heart in my head. I heard a loud bang of the bloder, I new I only had seconds.

I suddently ran into a room  I could hear the sound again along with a continues drip of the water drop, I knew I was it the room, I then saw the crack in the wall, with a picece  of sunlight shining through. I violently statred picking at the wall it slowly started to cruble apart. I suudently heard a growel coming from behind me.
