The end?

Cole's Pov

It was almost time. We had to do it when the moon was purple. The purple moon was supposed to happen tonight, so we had to decide. Lloyd had already said he would do it, but no one agreed with his decision. "I'm doing it whether you like it or not." Lloyd said crossing his arms. "You can't go through with this! It will end badly!" Nya exclaimed. She finally knew the dangers and agreed not to throw her life away. "I don't care! Jay wouldn't be gone if I had stepped up and forbid him!" Lloyd argued. Kai was furious and I mean furious. "It's not about YOU caring! It's about the people who care about YOU!" Kai yelled slapping the map out of Lloyd's hand. Kai stormed out of the room slamming the door behind him. "That could've gone better" I said with a chuckle. I felt like channeling my inner Jay would brighten the mood... Let's just say it didn't.

Lloyd's Pov

I was doing it. We were all driving to the watery lakes of the north. All I had to do was let the purple moonlight hit the comb and I would get traded. I was nervous to be stuck in the comb for the rest of my life. I had so much I still wanted to do. But I couldn't think of losing any of my teammates. If they "died" I would have failed as a master. It was Sensei Code. You don't let a student die if you can change their outcome. It was one rule I wasn't ever going to break. I mean what was the point of being alive if all my students were dead?

Nya's Pov

I still couldn't believe I was losing one teammate to gain another. I would love to fight Lloyd and not let him die for Jay. But I love him too much to let him die. I held the comb in one hand while Jay's emblem sat pinned on my Gi. I looked at it as the light hit it. "We're coming Jay" I whispered as I kissed the pin.

We pulled in to the lakes and I looked at Lloyd as he hopped of his bike. I could feel the tension in the air. Lloyd was scared. 'He doesn't have to go through with this' The angel on my shoulder said. 'But you want him to' the oni said. I grimaced, my voices were right. I wanted more than anything to have Jay in my arms right now. We walked into the moonlight and watched as it turned purple. "It is time, Master Lloyd" Zane said as I hesitantly handed Lloyd the comb. Kai was furious. Heat was practically radiating off of him. Lloyd looked at all of us one last time before raising the comb in the air. I could tell it wasn't pleasant. His hands shook as his eyes were glued shut. His face outlined with pain as he grimaced clutching his fist around the comb. It pained me to watch this, but I wanted my Jay back. "Okay you had your fun" Kai said as he pushed Lloyd out of the way letting the light hit him. With a single flash of light he was gone, and in his place a blue figure emerged. Lloyd was weak, but he was mad. "Jay!" I exclaimed running into his arms. He picked me up and swung me around in a circle laughing. He was back. He was real. "Kai is gone" I said as my face fell. Jay smiled. "Gone but not forgotten" Jay said as he pressed his hands together, glowing blue as blue outlined Kai appeared. "Miss me?" He asked smirking.
