The Start of Something New

Unfortunately they had to wait until the next day to begin, since it was a school night. They got ready to sleep and all they did all night was just dream of each other, but since they didn't know each other, they couldn't actually make out the face, it just looked like a blob.

the next day finally came around and they went to school, they had all but 2 classes together and sat next to each other in each of those classes, since they were very good friends they always tried to get the teacher to let them sit next to each other. They used to talk every day whenever they could, and now they don't even glance at each other. Cyrus has always been known as the shy one, unable to speak to new people because he was too scared too, it's like that guy from my world, I think his name was aldair? he seems cool, but eh idk, oh yeah we're focusing here.

Tj on the other hand is not really that shy, I mean he is the captain of a basketball team, and he's kind of agressive at times, anybody with two eyes can see it, but even though he can handle the idea of new people, he's just not really interested in making new friends.

you're probably thinking about how they could have literally looked at each other and been like "your necklace is gone? mine is too? O O O" but of course the necklace wanted to prevent that so the necklaces made it so Tj and Cyrus couldn't see see that their necklaces were broken most likely for each other, and the necklace's only did this just because they're each other's soulmates. I don't know what's up with these necklace's but they're strict that's for sure.

days went by and it was now a Thursday, the 2 boys were at their desks, which were placed (not surprising at all) next to each other, a group project was assigned, they were going to work with each other for the first time after the event that took place. Cyrus surprisingly started the conversation.

"so um. we're supposed to work together huh?"

"yeah, apparently, you think we can handle that?"

"I mean, sure, why not? With my brains and your strength, I think we can do it."

This entire time Cyrus was trying to avoid eye contact with Tj since he was that afraid of social interaction, but at one point he just sucked up his fears and looked at Tj properly. He had never seen someone more attractive, he felt his heart stop, he felt as if the world around him just... Paused, he had felt, like he maybe knew Tj before, he had never talked or looked at Tj before, but he still felt like something happened between them. Something major. Something spectacular.
