Lunch Time

"hmm? Did you say something?" Cyrus said, unclear on what Tj had just said.

"Huh? What? Me? I didn't say anything, what?"

Tj was blushing, rubbing his face, trying to cover any signs of affection. Cyrus just smiled.

"Here, have a piece." Cyrus said happily.

"Thanks muffin-"

"Did you just call me muffin?"

"Oh my God I'm so sorry, forget I said anything"

"No! I like it... It's... It's kinda cute."

"..really?"

"Yeah, I like it." ((I like you)) "it's a very adorable name"

"I'm glad you like it muffin."

*The bell rings*

"Well, we don't have the next 2 classes together. I guess I'll see you tomorrow?" Cyrus said.

"Why wait until tomorrow? I can hang out after school if you want."

"Oh, yeah, sure, I just need to ask my friends and make sure they're cool with it, we walk home everyday and I don't want them to think I'm abandoning them."

"I can give you my phone number so you can update me on what they say"

"Oh yeah, I was gonna complicate it by asking you to meet me in front of the school to tell you but that's better"

Tj smiles, taking out his phone, and giving Cyrus his phone number, he couldn't stop thinking about it.

(("Oh my god I'm giving him my phone number why am I freaking out come on Tj keep it together don't develop a crush on him he doesn't even have his necklace turned on he can't possibly like me back, come on Tj"))

"Alrighty, I'll text you after I ask my friends about it"

"Aight. See you later muffin."

"See you later... Muffin giver?"

"We can work on it"

Cyrus smiles, turns around and walks over to his friends while Tj watches him happily. He knew this was the start of a beautiful friendship, he was happy and he was glad. He of course hoped that Cyrus felt more however, little did he know, he did.
