The First Hangout

Tj and Cyrus made plans to talk more during lunch that day, they both knew that they should have gone for the project, but they both went for each other.

Cyrus went over to his friends Andi and Buffy just to quickly get ready to abandon them for this new boy.

"Hey guys my teacher assigned this new project where I have to work with my partner and find out some new things about them and then put them on a poster? I honestly have no idea we started talking after she said the basics.

Andi: "who's your partner?"

"His name is Tj, I'm surprised I've never heard or seen him before today."

"Tj? Who's tj?" Andi and Buffy say at the same time.

(The effect of the necklace's had reached everyone else at this point. Nobody knew about about Tj and Cyrus's past friendship anymore)

"He's on the basketball team, apprently he's the team captain, huh, I've never seen him before"

"Me neither" buffy responded quickly.

"Well anyways I gotta go and work with him now."

As Cyrus walked away he heard 2 confused "bye?" As if Buffy and Andi had no idea what just happened. I don't blame them. I get it. Oh yeah, no more breaking the 4th wall, almost got in trouble when sending the story to your world.

Tj noticed Cyrus walking towards him and with a smile, he said...

"Hey! Cyrus! What's up?"

"Nothing much, I'm just feeling like the best today"

"I'm glad you're happy Cyrus. Mind if I ask what is making you happy?"

"Ooorrrr we could maybe talk about this project thing..."

"Oh... Yeah, sure... Um. So... You wanna start then?"

"Sure"

They begin with the easy stuff, they say their favorite colors, their favorite food, their favorite stuff to wear (Tj's answer was hoodies) what they like to do after school, when their birthdays are. The easy stuff. That wasn't enough for either of the boys however.

"Are you getting the feeling that this is too bland, I think the teacher said we needed something good or simply just not this" Tj said.

"You know she has a name right?"

"Yeah, I just kind of... forgot it..."

"I did too actually."

Tj laughs. Cyrus then started to feel giddy inside, he made this new boy smile and laugh, and he loved that feeling, he loved it more than anything else.

"Hey, so, I want to go try to get a muffin real quick- oh, there's already a line, I'll just wait until tomorrow"

"I can go get you a muffin Cyrus"

"But there's more people than there are Muffins?"

"Trust me, I'll go get you a muffin"

Tj proceeded to get up and walk towards the famous muffin stand, Cyrus just sat looking at the floor in shock. He thought to himself...

"He's going to get me a muffin, I didn't even ask him to do so, he just got up and went to go get one, oh come on I can't develop feelings for him right now we're becoming such good friends I-"

His train of thought was interrupted with Tj putting his hand on Cyrus's shoulder, Cyrus looks and sees a smiling Tj, with something behind his back.

"Look what I got you"

Tj then pulls a chocolate chip muffin from where it was behind his back. Cyrus gasps, and smiles, and then Tj hands it to him, Cyrus grabs it, and then Tj walks back over to the other side of the table and just watches as Cyrus is filled with excitement over the muffin. He whispers to himself.

"Cute."
