Happy chappy with a little bit of sappy^-^

Your POV:

I can say for a fact that my smile didn't fade the whole night. From the bouquet of flowers, to the short drive and small talk to the restaurant, to Amber's small actions that made me feel so much more than just a friend.

Everything seemed perfect.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was soothing. Lights somewhat dimmed, and the music soft. It was quite romantic, which I didn't really expect from Amber, but I loved it nonetheless. The food was expensive, so when it came down to ordering, I tried to both order something not to expensive, and offered to pay for half the bill, however Amber ignored my offer and paid full price to my dismay.

When I first saw Amber at my door, holding the flowers, I don't think I've ever been more in love. She was dressed so nicely. Her lips looked so inviting with a slight hue of rose, but what made my heart beat so much faster, was that her personality was radiating from her. Her personality made me feel so at home and made me realize that I knew for a fact I was in love with Amber Liu.

Dinner ended and I felt as though I was having the time of my life. I've never felt so happy. We were on our way home, driving in Amber's car, or at least I assumed we were on our way home.

I watched the city lights pass by through the car window, smiling to myself and thinking about what a nice dinner I had tonight.

I was lost in thought until I felt something warm hold my hand. I look down to see Amber's hand hold mine. It feels so natural. Like it was always meant to be like this. I look towards Amber to see her steal a glance at me for a moment, smiling, before she pays her attention back towards the road ahead of us, her thumb moving slowly on the back of my hand, soothingly.

My heart feels warm.

Eventually we arrived to the dorms, our hands never leaving each others unless we absolutely had to, like to get out of the car, but right when we stood next to each other again, Amber took my hand in hers, intertwining our fingers together. We walked into the large dorm building, when we stopped in front of her dorm room.

"Can you come in with me, I have one more thing that I want to show you before this is over," She said, nervousness pouring from her. I nod my head quickly, now exactly liking the fact that she is so nervous.

"Of course," I say reassuringly. Amber opens the door to the dorm, guiding me inside, her hand not leaving mine.

I couldn't exactly comprehend what I was seeing at first when I walked into the dorm. Maybe it was the shock that got to me first, or the nervousness that the dorm would catch on fire.

But what I saw was amazing.

Hundreds of candles lighting up the dorm. All scattered across the floor, the coffee table, the dining table, everywhere. The candles were the only thing that was keeping the dorm light.

Amber closed the door behind me. Myself, too afraid to move.

She  walked in front of me, taking both of my hands in hers, looking at me, her eyes staring into mine.

"I really had no idea how to say this," Amber said as she leaned down, getting on one knee "but I really love you Y/N. I don't know if you like me the same way or if you even think of me the same way. But no matter what you do, I can't keep my eyes off you. When you were with Jae, I never felt so jealous in my life, even if it was just as friends. Y/N, will you be my girlfriend?" She asked, her eyes getting slightly teary.

I nod quickly, my eyes getting teary as well from her confession. I lean down so I'm on my knees as well and we're the same height. Amber pulls me into a tight hug, wrapping her arms around me, as if she never want to let go. I feel her peppering me in light pecks across my forehead.

That moment was the moment I smiled the brightest that night.

"Woo hoooo!!!" We heard from another room. I jumped slightly at the sound of the voice, not expecting it. Amber giggles slightly at my reaction, and I instantly forget the scream, focused on how beautiful Amber sounds.

Luna and Victoria come out of the room cheering together.

"We were the ones that helped Amber set this up while you guys were out by the way," Victoria says and I giggle.

"You don't know how difficult it was to get Krystal out of the dorm for the night. I think she went to hang out with your band mates," Luna says, sighing. I nodded, agreeing with her sigh. They will be a handful oh gosh.

unedited

just so you know, I have no hate towards Krystal at all, it is just a part of the story and that is all!!
