two weeks later.
today's the day. Isabelle is finally out of the hospital and can finally go home.
As our two year anniversary gift i surprised her with our new apartment. A down to earth cozy 1 bedroom apartment in downtown LA.
I woke up to Isabelle packing up here things. dancing to some queen music.
"well you seem happy" i'm happy to see her in such a good mood. she's been going through a lot lately. her chemo therapy has been really rough on her immune system.
i'm happy she can get out of here now. she deserves it.
When we packed up all of our stuff we took it down to the rental car, seeing that we can't afford our own right now. I go back up to Isabelle's room to see her on the floor.
laughing.
"uh why are you on the floor" i asked her while i helped her up.
"i told Dr. Kay, once i'm down i'm staying down. i'm NOT getting back up" she giggled.
understandable on her part she felt weak, if i was in her place and i fell against the nice cold floor. i would stay there as well.
After all the falling, we went to the nurses station and signed the discharge forms.
I could see Isabelle's smile as we finished up with the papers. Now, for the big surprise.

Isabelle's pov
i was happy, very very happy. I was finally out of that beige room. two windows on the southeast corner, letting the natural light in. hearing the loud beeping every 2.36 seconds.
i was free.
"where are we even going Babe" corbyn was driving and god knows where to. "patience is key, sit back and relax and you'll see when we get there" at this point i was completely confused, worried about what this dirty blonde has in store for us.
"close your eyes" i was kinda scared at this point. "what no corbyn, no way"
"fine i'll just blind fold you then" he giggled.
He put the blindfold on and got me out of the car safely. Leading me into a door and up a few flights of stairs.
"take off the blind fold" and so i did.
"Babe, what is this place"
"it's our new home" he has a huge smile on his face, as did i.
our new home.
