Isabelle's POV**
All i remembered was the darkness, it was pitch black, like that one time i... you see the point. I was in pain everywhere, like i had just gotten hit by a bus.
All i remember after that was feeling as if i couldn't breathe, as if i was suffocating.

When i woke up all i could hear was beeping, from the machine. i was over it already, i hated this noise so much that i tried to pull my IV out and leave. That is until i heard a voice, one i thought i would never hear again. My dad. he's here, he's really here.
I wanted to leave now more then over until i saw him, the boy. Smiling his cute smile, his beautiful eyes glimmering from the light coming in through the southeast corner. i instantly fell into a whole new world, one where it's just me and him. i was snapped out of this unfamiliar place by the now very loud beeping, occurring every 2.36 seconds.
I turned to my dad and asked him something i never thought i would ask him in a million years.
I- can you leave?
C- sure i'll give you guys some time to talk
I- no i wasn't talking to you, i was talking to him.
D- me?
I- yes and i meant what i said, leave.
C- y/n he your father think about this
I- No! he lied to me for a year.
D- y/n it isn't what it looks like
I- are you kidding me?! you got back from the army NINE MONTHS AGO. WHILE I WAS HERE, FIGHTING FOR MY LIFE DAY AFTER DAY. So i mean it when i say this... leave.
D- if that's what you want. take good care of her Corbyn.

My heart warmed when i heard that one word. "Corbyn" the boy i loved so much and adored since the day i met him. I now know what i've been wondering forever, his name. i couldn't be happier. in that moment that was all i need, the boy.. i mean Corbyn, to be here.
C- Isabelle?
I- corbyn. nice name.
C- nice face.
I- you're so cheesy.
I said while throwing a pillow at him and giggling.
C- what can i say? it's true.
I- How did i get so lucky? the boy of my dreams is here tonight.

All of this was perfect, until i actually woke up.
