______

SILENCE washed over the boys as they continued their walk to nowhere. Jae never felt so empty in his life. The one he's been with since day one was now gone. He couldn't think straight and was lost. It hurt.

Sungjin had one thing on his mind and one thing only. It was to keep everyone safe, no matter what happens. They had already lost a member and he didn't want to lose anyone else. He knew it was better to try and move past the horrific event and protect everyone.

Wonpil didn't know what to do with himself anymore. For him, it was like everything came back pointing at him for everything negative that has happened. No matter how many times he tried to tell himself otherwise, he still beat himself up for everything. The boy held himself guilty. He already lost a friend, and it feels like he's going to lose another. Dowoon wasn't the same, and it was killing him.

Dowoon felt like there was a giant weight on him. The only thing he could identify himself as was a killer. He began to think about how different everything would be if he died instead of Younghyun.

'Maybe it should've been me. Maybe things would've been ok.' He told himself. Dowoon could never truly forgive himself, even if it was an accident. He told himself it was an unforgiving task that he pulled, and that he should've died as well.

Dowoon chose to stay behind the others, just to set a distance. Although, Wonpil would never let his plans truly set out. The shorter boy walked at Dowoon's pace to accompany him, no matter what.

"Dowoon." The boy switched his gaze to the smaller boy, waiting for what he had to say.

"Please don't beat yourself up over this.." Dowoon shook his head and averted his gaze away from the boy again.

"I'll be happier when I die."

"Don't say that—"

"But that's how I feel. It wouldn't matter. I deserve it."

"If you can't bear to live without me, how would I live without you? Did you ever think about that? You're my best friend, don't do anything stupid Dowoon!"

"Haven't we been through enough stupid shit? I've done a lot of stupid stuff. I just don't know how to feel anymore. I feel, dead. I wish I was."

"Dowoon...please."

"Forget it."

"Guys! The person texted me!" Despite the amount of sadness and despair that filled the night air, the boy's crowded over to Jae's phone and groaned in annoyance.

Unknown:
too bad Younghyun didn't fulfill his task.

Unknown:
He deserved death

Unknown:
Who's next?

"What I wanna know is, can we go the fuck home?!" Jae snapped, gripping his phone with great force.

Unknown:
Ur never getting home Jaehyung

Unknown:
Let's play Marco Polo, dark edition

Unknown:
Truth or dare has never had so many twists, nor been this fun. Right?

"Dark edition??" Jae muttered, and like that, the street lights flickered on and off before finally staying, off. No building around them had power, leaving them in the inky black darkness.

"What the hell.." Jae took his phone and went to settings to turn on his flashlight. To his surprise, it wouldn't work. After doing so, the phone immediately shut off. He tried to press the power button to open it back up, but it didn't turn on. This is a set up.

"Guys? Are you all here??" Sungjin called out, earning small responses from each of the boys. He had to stay calm, for them. Sungjin took a deep breathe and let go.

"Sungjin, What're we gonna do? My phone won't even turn on anymore!" Jae asked, worry laced in every word that spilt from his mouth.

"We're going to be ok. Just calm down. The lights will come back on."

"We're gonna fucking die." Wonpil muttered, all hope was drained from him. He knew it was over for one of them. He just didn't want it to be him.

"Sungjin, are you touching my neck??" Jae questioned, feeling something glide against his neck, sending chills down his spine.

"What..no. Wonpil?"

"I'm nowhere near Jae hyung.." Wonpil said, his heart rate beginning to pick up.

"Dowoon?" Jae asked, only to be hit with the same response as everyone else.

"Hyung I'm with Wonpil. So no."

"It's probably the wind. I hate being outside." Jae mumbled, trying to reassure himself. It had been pretty windy so it couldn't have been anything else.

"You won't have to be outside anymore after this. Goodnight Jaehyung."
