'Err, Doreen... There appears to be a bug in my soup' I said frowning at the lunch lady,
'Lewis dear, you don't have any soup' she said looking at my tray in front of me
'Oh yeah, my bad' I laughed as i walked out of the cafeteria and looked around to see Niall, he was sitting on a bench with three sandwiches and a large bag of 22 packets of crisps.
'You should be fat' I said walking over to him
'Nice to see you too Lou, i'm really good thanks for asking' He said grinning
'your welcome' i grinned 'I love Fridays' I sighed as i sunk in to the bench next to Niall and bit into my sandwich
'Lou, it's Thursday' Niall chuckled
'What?' I asked frowning
'it's Thursday not Friday' he said again but much slower
'oh my god, this is pure idiocy. Why the hell is it a Thursday?' He asked
'Because it came after wednesday' He chuckled
'I thought i'd slept through Thursday but no, this is just-'
'Louis can i have a word' I was interrupted and i looked at who it was
'Oh, hey Eleanor, want a carrot?' i asked holding out a tub of them
'i don't, no. But i would like to talk to you' She sighed
'talk away' I nodded
'in private' She said, i gulped and stood up, she grabbed my hand and dragged me to the corner of the field,
'What's going on Louis?' She asked looking at me
'what do you mean?' I asked frowning
'you hardly talk to me any more, you're so distant. We've not been out just us two in three weeks, what is going on Lou?' she questioned her eyebrows knitted together in a frown
'It's just work and school getting in the way, half terms in a week, and i'll take you out for a meal and a movie then, how does that sound?'
'Louis, do you even feel anything for me anymore' She asked, i raised an eyebrow at her question
'how do you mean?'
'i mean you haven't kissed me in months Lou, why haven't you?' she asked i began to feel hot and felt the blood rushing to my face
'i-i don't know, El' i said, which in truth was the truth, i hadn't kissed her, and i wasn't sure if i wanted to either
'Did you ever get a tingly sensation when we kissed, did you ever feel like jelly?'
'err, i don't know. Why?' She asked
'did your heart ever skip a beat for me Lou?' She asked
'err, maybe?' i asked uncertainly,
'Lou, do you even like me as more than a friend anymore?' She asked
'Yeah?' i said but it sounded more like a question, she sighed and shook her head. she paused for a moment before looking me in the eyes.
'Louis, are you gay?' She asked, i choked on my own spit.
'What? No!' i said quickly
'if you are, it's fine!' she said quickly
'I'm not, why do you think that?' I asked
'so you've never felt anything for a boy before?'
'No!' i said defiantly.
