Kurayami Abarai's POV (Renji's sister):

A spiritual being called a soul reaper allowed me to pass on to the after life or the soul society as they call it. I haven't been dead for long, my body in the human world hasn't even been put into the ground yet.

I guess I should introduce myself. I am Kuryami Abarai and I am 15, well at least I was when I was alive. I lived 13 years longer than my brother so I guess I'm considered older than him now since he died when he was 7 but to me he's still my older sibling. I have deep red hair that is the color of blood and bright green eyes that stand out more due to my barely tanned skin. I'm pretty short, only standing at 5'4".

I am actually trying to find my brother as we speak. I've been heading toward the capital that everyone here calls the Seireitei where the soul reapers reside. I heard from an old lady say that my brother is a soul reaper hense why I'm heading there to find him. I didn't bother to try and get food or water from the mean looking venders in the last town because I knew I could live off the land as I traveled. When I came to this place I was placed so far from the capital it was just a dot so I know I have a long journey ahead of me.

I sighed as I continued walking bare footed toward that small dot off in the distance. I knew I could get there quicker if I ran but I have lazy tendancies that delay my progress all the damn time. I'll be walking for days that's for sure.

~Time skip one week~

So after a week of walking I'm in the living area right outside the humongus Seireitei walls. I made a mistake with never trying to get food because the enviornment was extremely lacking in forigable food. I found water easily but food was a different story and now I swear my stomach sounds like a dying whale because of how empty it is.

Currently I'm sitting in an entrance to an alleyway close to the food stands but just out of smelling zone so my hunger doesn't grow \to much and my stomach is making it's dying whale noises. The noises gained a few glances but I was ignored for the most part. I curled up into a ball and leaned on the wall deciding to take a much needed nap for a little while. Hopefully I can find my brother soon.
