Kurayami's POV:

I huffed as I crossed my arms and turned my back to him. I heard him sigh and come up behnd me lifting me up in a hug.

"Squirt don't be mean to your Oni-san. And since when did you get this dirty mouth or yours?" He asked me while keeping my feet off the ground.

I pouted. "After years of not seeing me of course my vocabulary would have changed and I can be mean to you because you didn't remember me. Besides aren't you busy and need to go do some sort of mission?" I grumbled lowly to him.

"I'm waiting for my partener first. Why don't you have shoes on squirt?" He asked looking down over my shoulder seeing my filthy feet with the dirt covering dried blood from my long walk.

"I didn't arrive here with shoes and I had no money so I couldn't get any plus I was focused on trying to find you." I mumbled.

"Hmmm then we'll haave to get you some new things huh? Especially with how short your clothes are." He muttered the last part to himself but I heard him because his head was resting on my shoulder. I growled and head butted him hard enough to land on the ground.

"It goes to my knees oni-chan! It's not to short!!" I puffed out my cheeks in anger as I out my hands on my hips glaring down at him. He clutched his forehead where I hit him with my head.

"When the hell did you get such a hard head?" He grumbled and got up and I saw that a bruise was already forming.

"Since I took multiple martial art classes to learn how to protect myself while all alone. I got my ass handed to me often but I got multiple black belts and it helped me a lot when guys where trying to come onto me." I made a digusted face at the memory of all the guys trying to make moves on me. Renji looked livid now.

"What?!?!?! Why would they come onto you your not hot at all." He said in confusion and anger. I felt an irk mark appear on my head. I took a couple steps back before launching forward and planting both of my feet on his face making him fall over with me using his face like a door mat.

"Shut up oni-chan!! I was actually the hottest girl in school!!" I ground out angrly. I heard a chuckle and blushed as I realized the gaurd guy was still sitting there and had witnessed this whole scene.

I stepped off of Renji's face still blushing and pouted. "He started it." The guard dude laughed loudly at this.

"Kid you started it not him. He was just speaking his mind and you beat him up for it which is strange considering he's suppose to b a lieutenant." The guard explained being very amused.

Just as I was about to reply a girl in the same clothing as Renji and the guard came running up. Her short black hair as neat as it could get and one piece flopped in between her violet eyes. She was short, small chested, and petite.

"Sorry I'm la-" She started to speak and then she noticed I was there and Renji was on the ground clutching his face in pain while quietly cursing me. "What happened here?" She asked.

"A family reunion gone bad." The guard said while chuckling causing me to pout.
