Kurayami's POV:
The girl stared at me like I was some sort of beast and I looked down avoiding her gaze.
"So your Renji's sister. Tell me why you attacked him then?" She said placing a hand on her sword attached to her hip.
"He was mean to me so I retaliated." i grumbled and played with the edge of my shirt.
"Lighten up Rukia she hasn't done anything that bad. I'm still alive aren't I?" Renji said while climbing up to his feet. I shuffled my feet until he was between me and this Rukia girl.
"I wouldn't want to kill him anyway I just want to spend time with him because I haven't seen him in so long." I mumbled and grabbed the back of Renji's top.
The girl continued to stare at me and I buried my face in Renji's back hoping the girl would leave me alone.
"I don't trust her. There's something fishy about her. How did she even know you'd be here?" She asked Renji and he stiffened slightly.
"She could've asked around or something. You need to stop worrying it's not like she's gonna truly hurt anyone." He explained but he didn't relax. I glanced up at him worried because this didn't feel right.
I began to panic slightly as I saw that his jaw was hard set meaning something bad would happen. I felt as if some sort of energy began to leak from my body. As this happened he tended further and turned his head toward me slowly.
"Kurayami why is your spiritual pressure similar to a hollow?" He asked and I took a step back.
"I don't know. I don't know what a hollow even is Renji." I said trying to make my voice strong despite my fear that something might happen. Rukia started to draw her sword and I backed up more knowing fear was shining in my eyes.
Renji turned to face me his expression was one of confusion, anger, and loyalty but not to me. I stepped back more but I bumped into a wall. I faintly heard Rukia say something before I was being restrained by beams of light energy.
"We'll have to take her into custody where she can be observed." Rukia spoke and Renji nodded and turned his back on me.
My eyes burned as tears welled up and spilled down my cheeks. I stared at the back of Renji's head before looking at the guard who looked almost disgusted with himself and me. I turned my gaze to the ground as I held in my sobs of sadness and fear. I have no clue what's happening or what I did wrong. I've been left in the dark.
