I sat in the pub, taking a shot of whiskey and sighing.

I had to stop seeing Sam it was effecting little Liam to see things too and I didn't want him to go through that. Not now.

I saw a girl with really pretty. flowy black hair sit next to me and order a beer.

She seemed American, but she was really beautiful.

"Hey," The girl said, looking at me. "You're Niall Horan from One Direction!" She said, smiling at me with a great smile.

I laughed awkwardly and nodded.

"That's me..." I said, not sure whether to let her say or tell her leave.

I was trying to get my mind off of Sam, but I wanted to be alone.

If I was alone, however, I wouldn't forget Sam.

So, I'd let her stay.

"My name is Cheryl Germane. Wow I used to OBSESSED over your group!" Cheryl exclaimed.

I raised an eyebrow.

"Used to?" I said, trying to sound hurt.

She laughed and shook her head, taking a sip of beer.

"Still do."

There was silence and I don't know what came over me, but I kissed her and she kissed back.

I felt the kiss get more and more intense and she got up and so did I as we walked to my car.

*-*

I woke up with the white sheets of my bed pulled over me and I groaned, a splitting head ache racking my brain.

Guess who had a hang over?

I turned to my side and I opened my eyes to see a flash of black hair.

I sat up, gasping and saw a girl next to me, stir awake in a groggy matter.

I had SEX last night?!

I remembered meeting her at the bar, but quickly regretting it because I was thinking of the kids.

"Morning..." She said, smiling sleepily at me.

I stood up and put on a pair of pants from my bedside and looked at her.

She had herself propped on her elbows and she had two light colored, perfectly shaped lips with gray eyes and pale, soft skin.

I saw her sit up and cock her head sideways with a sea of confusion swimming in her eyes.

I took a deep breath and she smiled at me, "You alright?" I nodded and put my hand on my forehead, trying to get rid of the horrible head ache.

"Yeah," I said, waving her off. "Just a bit of hangover.."

She stood up and put on my shirt that was laying crumpled on the floor.

"I know how to cure it. Where's your kitchen?" She asked, smiling cheerily.

I raised an eyebrow at her and pointed out the door and she walked out, me following behind her.

She walked into the kitchen looking through every cabinet, finding tea and she began to heat the stove, sitting with me and I handed her a bottle of water.

She smiled, sitting next to me and I looked at her, just... wondering.

Something about her was extremely different.

She was nothing like Sam she was independent and she was an early bird, but I loved it.

"So, Niall of One Direction, tell me. You seem to have it made. Money, fame, the single life."

I chuckled as she served me some tea and I took a cautious sip, knowing it was hot.

"Yeah and I'm a single father with two ten year olds."

She giggled and shrugged at me, "I like kids. Where are they anyway?" She asked.

I looked at my watch and gasped, standing up putting the cup of tea in the sink.

"Shit, shit, shit.." I said, turning to look at her.

"Cheryl, I'm sorry that I have to sat this, but please go put on some clothes my kids should be here any second and-"

Then there was a knock at the door and I looked at Cheryl with wide eyes, she ran upstairs and I fixed my hair, opening the door to see Louis and Luna standing in the doorway, Louis carrying Bella in his arms as she rested her head on his shoulder, her eyes closed.

Liam and Claire were standing up, looking up at me.

"Hey, did we wake you?" Luna asked, a look of apology on her face.

I shook my head, putting a fake smile on and Claire and Liam ran in, jumping on the couch instantly.

"No, I'm fine. I'm just a little nauseous.. I'll see you two later. Bye Bells." I said, ruffling the little girl's hair.

She stayed with her eyes closed and I shut the door.

I took a deep breath and saw Cheryl walking down the steps of the house as Liam and Claire turned around to look at her.

"Daddy, who's that?" Claire asked.

Cheryl smiled at Claire and bent down on one knee, smiling at her, "I'm Cheryl, a friend of your dad's." She said kindly.

Liam glared at her, He was obviously still angry at me for not believing him about seeing Sam and the thing is, I knew he probably saw her.

"You're pretty." Claire said, a looking at her admiringly.

Cheryl smiled at her and pinched her cheek softly.

"You're pretty too.." She said, smiling her pearly white smile.

I coughed awkwardly and Cheryl stood up, fixing her hair.

"Cheryl was just leaving." I said.

She nodded and began to walk towards the door, passing by me, but I grabbed her arm softly, whispering in her ear.

"Meet me at the coffee shop tomorrow at two."

She smiled at me and slipped a paper in my hand, walking out.

There was an awkward silence among me and the children in the room.

When I looked down at the paper, un-crumpling it I saw it was her number.

This mistake was actually going pretty well...
