" You know what I've been searching for a while now." I glace over my shoulder to my twin, noticing a chunk of his hair flopped out of place.
"For what exactly?" Crossing his arms he give me the look of here we go again.
"The Planet." I declare as I walk over, fixing his infuriating mop of hair.
"What do you mean Raven?" He complains.
"Really? You don't know what I'm talking about, Hunter."
"Not really, no."
"Bummer." I say roping him in.
"Come on tell me what it is."
"Well of coarse." I confirm in an exaggerated tone.
I begin dragging him through the water-bottles. Hearing the familiar crunch of plastic underfoot.
Weaving through houses, continuing to drag my brother, back to our little red brick, cement home. I'm filled with new found excitement. I can show him the photos, I tell myself. Before I can finish dragging us to our destination he pulls me to a holt.
"What are doing?" I turn to look at him. Then I notice he has scrapes and cuts all over him.
"Making sure I don't get killed by the glass shards!" I can tell he's not that annoyed... yet.
"Sorry" I say half apologetically. Taking his hand again pulling him down stairs and shoving him into our room. Then to finish it off I push him, being the sister I am, onto his bed.
"What was that for?" He complains as I'm rushing off to find the photo album.
"Just cuz, get over it."
"Whatever, just tell me what's going on."
"This." I say as sit next to him. "I was wondering around the other day in the junkyard, when I found it. It's a photo album." I confirmed.
"OK what's so special about it, we have photo albums in the house."
"But this one is different."
"Different how?"
"Just look." I carefully unzip the faded waterproof case, opening to the first page of many. "There not just any photos they are filled with things we've never seen."
"Is that a tree? They said it's been at least a millennia since they went extinct from natural disasters. I've only read about them in books but wow. What does this mean?" He says in astonishment.
" I have no idea but look." I point to the picture I love the most of a beach bathed in the soft glow of the sun." I've learned that both the trees and the clean water never disappeared or went extinct. We, humans, caused it over the many years from the over production of plastic or something like that."
"What do you mean, we caused this?"
"It's a long story but it didn't just happen, it took decades."
I show him the pictures, showing how it slowly turned sour. The photos of someone swimming, with the now extint murine life, through the plastic.
"There's a way we can bring it back." I say confident. "We can find the planet."
"You're crazy." He confirms. "What's the plan?"
