Troy is my boyfriend, Troy is my boyfriend. I kept repeating to myself, and a smile painted itself across my face.
"What are you smiling about?" Jessica asked me. I used my eyes to point to Troy, she smiled and rolled her eyes.
I was getting annoyed because I kept trying to have a moment with Troy, but I kept catching him sneaking looks at Cassidy.
"Do you love me?" I asked him while looking up into his eyes, he pulled me into a hug. I love him
Thing started getting a little heated at the table between the guys, so Jess and I decided to go to the restroom to chat.
"God I love your British accent" Jess said for the 8th time. I laughed and shook my head. I just moved here from Liverpool, England. You don't really think you have an accent until you move to another country.
"Hey what's the deal with you and Troy?" I asked Jessica, she tensed a little and I gave her a suspicious look. I heard rumors about her sleeping around before. Had she slept with Troy? Is that why he was acting weird today.
"I slept with a guy named Gavin, and Troy knows" Jessica said. Now I am even more confused than I was in the beginning. What does that have to do with Troy though? Is Troy jealous?
"Umm..elaborate?"
"Cassidy and Troy are the best of friends always have been, Gavin was Cassidy's boyfriend, and I slept with him and now I am dating her brother and it's just all bad" she said in one quick breath. Who the hell am I friends with?
"Why did you do that Jess?"
"Honestly Lyla, it was a stupid mistake and now Cass hates me and so does Troy, but Cody doesn't know and I really like how things are going between me and him so don't say anything okay?"
"Okay". We headed back to the table and things had finally calmed down between the guys. When lunch ended Troy and I left hand in hand. I turned around for a split second and saw that Cassidy girl burning a whole with her eyes through my hand. I internally cried. Does she like Troy, I hope not.
