I woke up to the sweet sweet smell of bacon and eggs. I sat up and stretched my arms, placed my hand on my left cheek..where Josh kissed me the night before and giggled. I hopped out of bed and skipped down the hallway and accidentally bumped into C.

"You realize it's a Monday right," he said in a grumpy voice.I nodded and went down the stairs two steps at a time eager to finish breakfast and get to school.

"Good morning Cade," I said to my tall brother as I took a seat at the table and put some food on my plate. Melissa and Maya exchanged confused looks. I shrugged my shoulders.

Soon my good mood died down as I realized it was Monday, which meant I had to go to school. I finished my food and walked up the steps one at a time.

For today's outfit, I chose a pair of blue jeans and a purple shirt for shoes I chose white converse. Next, I curled my brown hair and put it in a high ponytail and did my eyebrows. Lexi is my ride to school today and we're also going to pick up Troy on the way to school. Before Mia got pregnant I feel like I was a lot closer to her than I was to Lexi. Now it's the other way around.

I'm eager for school today, a little too eager. Not because I love the educational environment or because I can't wait to see my friends, but because of one boy. Josh.

--------------------------------------

First period is my least favorite class, it drags.  Geometry sucks, and I really don't see the point of it. After a few decades past, the bell finally rang I shot up out of my seat and made a beeline for the exit of the dreadful classroom.

I saw Mia in the hallway and she smiled at me, I didn't smile back. I'm looking for Josh right now she is the least of my worries.  After scanning the hallway for him. I finally spot him laughing with some of his friends. He turns in my direction and we lock eyes, what an amazing two seconds. I make my way to him with my head down after he motions for me to come over to him.

"Hey" he says while putting his arm around my shoulders. He introduces me to some of his friends, they're clothing is almost identical.

He and his friends conversate and I listen, well Im not really listening,  I'm really just hearing. Im mostly just thinking about how his arm is resting casually on my shoulders. This is nice.

------------------------------------

It's now fourth period and I'm now tired and bored with school. It's really hard to focus in class when it smells like ass. The new history class is right next to the smelliest corner of the school, and sadly I'm in that class...sitting next to the window. Ten minutes into the class there a knock on the door and then it opens and guess who it is. Josh.
