it is summer now which means all the kids are on summer break that includes the kids of UA academy, they are all sitting in there class room for the last day of school this year, they all eagerly watch the clock as the hands tick tick tick even Aizawa is watching it tick but not showing as eager even though he is, summer means he can sleep all day long and stay in his bedroom back home while eating fruit pouches and sip on soda while watching cartoon and training his Quirk, Hizashi on the other hand is making plans to hanging out with Shouta and see how much junk food he can eat without getting sick and also train his muscles and quirk but his man focus is his muscles since his quirk is long distance he has to make sure he can fight bad guys who are close combat as well.
Hizashi has his hands on the desk while his knees are in the chair he is leaning over more and more as the minute hand ticks Aizawa has his head on the desk with his arms as well but he is watching the clock closely the other kids are also watching the clock closely, the teacher is writing on the board getting some last minute teaching in but he is also watching the clock every now and then he is also eager for the day to be over, as the clock hand gets closer and closer to the five the students start to squirm in there seats some where already packing up their bags, this went on for about 5 minutes till the whole classroom filed with the final bell of school the kids started cheering and talking the teacher sat his chalk down and said good bye to the kids and rushed out the door, Hizashi shoved his stuff in his bag and said "Finally summer break! Are you excited Shouta?" Aizawa packed his bag neatly and said "yah i am." Hizashi smiled big at Aizawa and said "i'm also excited for the day after tomorrow, ITS MY BIRTHDAY, the big 18!" Shouta let out a loud sigh, Hizashi has been non-stop talking about his birthday all month long. Aizawa asked "what do you want for your birthday?" Hizashi shook is head and said "nothing." Aizawa shrugged and the two walked out the classroom Hizashi was making plans for his party "Yagi has to be there, Enji also, OH so does Nemuri also!" Aizawa scoffed and said "anyone else?" Hizashi frowned and said "well i was hoping someone else would come." Aizawa frowned as well and knew Hizashi was talking about his mom but since the whole issue with his dad when they were young Hizashi hasn't seen his mom at all, when Hizashi was younger she would at least stop by for his birthday but now she hasn't come by. Aizawa patted his back and said "i'm sure she will come by to see you if she doesn't she must just be busy." Hizashi made a small smile and grabbed Aizawa's hand and said "thanks, at least i got you Shouta." Aizawa smiled at Hizashi and kissed his cheek.
when the boys got home they saw the kitchen table was filled with grocery bags Aizawa peeked in the bags and saw cups and plates and asked out loud "are these for the party?" Aizawa's mom came walking into the kitchen and said "yes they are so don't mess with them." Aizawa nodded and went and made them both a sandwich, Aizawa's mom tied the bags shut and said "Hizashi dear what do you want for your birthday so i can get you it tomorrow." Aizawa sat a plate down in front of Hizashi and Hizashi nodded at him thanking him and said "i don't really want anything." Aizawa's mom smiled and said "well i am getting you something, so if you think of anything let me know or i'm just going to pick something for you." Hizashi smiled big and said "socks?" Aizawa's mom shook her head and said "most moms would be fine with that." and she walked off into the living room, Aizawa laughed and said "if i said that she would be fine with it." Hizashi shrugged and bit into his sandwich Aizawa sat across from him and asked "why do you not want anything for your birthday?" Hizashi sat his sandwich down and said "because you both let me live here and take care of me when i could have lived on the streets so i don't want anything because i got what i wanted for so long a family." Aizawa said "wow you are so modest." Hizashi smiled and ate the rest of his sandwich.
The day after tomorrow~
when Aizawa woke up he walked down stairs to see the house was filled with streamers and a big banner reading 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY!' and the house was filled with the smell of food, when Aizawa walked into the kitchen he saw a cake on the counter and other finger foods for the party then he looked at the table and saw two plates of blueberry pancakes and a plate of bacon, Aizawa's mom came walking in and asked "could you go wake Hizashi up for breakfast?" Aizawa nodded and walked back up the steps and to Hizashi's room, he opened his door and went beside Hizashi's bed and softly shook him and said "hey babe." Hizashi opened his eyes and reached over for his glasses while he was putting them on Aizawa said "happy birthday, breakfast is ready mom made your favorite." Hizashi smiled big and asked "blueberry pancakes?" Aizawa nodded and said "and bacon." Hizashi jumped up and followed Aizawa down stairs to the kitchen, when he got down there he saw the cake and finger food then he looked over at the table where Aizawa's mom was sitting and said "happy birthday Hizashi, i cant believe you are 18." Hizashi smiled big at the sight of the pancakes and bacon and quickly sat down to eat and said "thank you so much!" Aizawa sat down as well and began to eat, Aizawa's mom got up and said "i have to go to the store but yall's friends will be coming in about a hour if i'm not back please don't make a mess." then she kissed to top of their heads and left in a hurry. the two boys finished breakfast and Hizashi washed the dishes while Aizawa cleaned up the table, when they finished Hizashi went and took a shower but Aizawa went into his room and wrapped Hizashi's present he got him yesterday he has been saving up his money for it and also doing odd and end jobs around the city when he could but he got Hizashi a nice recording mic and some headphones and a recording box that he can plug into his computer since Hizashi likes to sing, Aizawa wished he could have gotten him a better computer since his old one is starting to act up and run slow but he couldn't get enough for it by now so he got him the next best thing. Aizawa just finished wrapping the present when Hizashi was opening the door so Aizawa shoved it under his bed but when Hizashi walked in he wasn't quick enough so Hizashi saw it and asked "is that a present for me?" Aizawa sighed and said "yah it is but you cant open it right now." Hizashi sat in front of Aizawa and said "but please." Aizawa thought for minute and said "maybe for a kiss." Hizashi leaned in and kissed Aizawa for a long minute then pulled away and smiled big with a bit of pink on his cheeks, Aizawa smiled and picked up the present and sat it in between them, Hizashi didn't waste anytime and ripped the paper off, when he saw the mic and headphones and recording box he looked shocked and said "Shouta this is amazing i love it!" Aizawa blushed a bit and scratched his head and said "i know you love to sing songs and always talk about you having a radio show so i thought maybe you could start making podcast for now." Hizashi hugged Aizawa tightly and said with tears in his eyes "thank you this means so much to me." Aizawa hugged back and said "i'm just glad you like it." Hizashi pulled away and whipped his eyes and began fidgeting with the recording box and said "i cant wait to start recording and maybe one day i will have my own radio show, i'ma call it 'put your hands up', how does it sound?" Aizawa chuckled and said "its cheesy but i like it." a few minutes later the doorbell rang Hizashi looked at Aizawa but he shrugged and said "they must be early." so they got up and went to the front door and opened it to see a big grinned Yagi who had his hands on his hips and proudly said "happy birthday Hizashi." Aizawa got out the way to let Yagi in but as Yagi started to cross the threshold a flash of red came running through and passed Yagi they all looked over to see a red hair man stand up straight he was all buff and his hair was standing Right up but Yagi walked over and said "nice to see you Enji." Enji crossed his arms and said "happy birthday Hizashi." Hizashi smiled big and said "thank you, both of you." Yagi smiled proudly at Hizashi but Enji was looking away with a stern look on his face its normal to all of them, Enji likes to look like he isn't enjoying his time with everyone but they all know he does or else he wouldnt hang out with them. Aizawa sighed and said "now all we are missing is-" he was cut off by a female voice "ME!" Enji scoffed and Nemuri walked all the way in and said "aww no need to be rude Enji." Enji glared at her and Nemrui walked over to him and said "you keep glaring like that you will get wrinkles." Enji said "like the ones you have?" Nemuri stomped over to Enji and said "i do not have wrinkles." Enji glared back at her but then Yagi asked "hey Hizashi where do i put my gift?" and he held up a box wrapped in bunny wrapping paper just then midnight held up a small gift wrapped in shiny red paper and Enji held up a box wrapped in Phoenix wrapping paper, Hizashi pointed at the kitchen table and said "that should be fine,ill take them for you." Yagi waved his hand and said "no its OK, its your birthday." Yagi walked over to the table and Nemuri looked at Enji's present and said "fire? really Enji." Enji looked at her with a glare and said "its better then your tiny gift its probably some fancy necklace he wont even like." Nemuri huffed and marched her present to the table with Enji behind her, Hizashi offered to get them drinks but Aizawa told him to relax and he made everyone a drink and passed them out everyone sat around the table and Hizashi showed off what Aizawa got him, not to long Aizawa's mom came back with a flat gift wrapped in yellow and white stripped wrapping paper and then a second one in a rectangle box wrapped in the same paper and she sat it on the table beside the other ones and then asked "have yall ate yet?" Yagi said "no ma'am we have not." Aizawa's mom patted Yagi's back and said with a smile "ill make everyone's plate then." Enji sat up in his chair and asked "do you need any help?" Aizawa's mom shook her head and said "you are sweet but i got it, thank you though." Nemuri couldn't help but laugh at the sweet part and Enji glared at her while Aizawa's mom smiled and went over to the kitchen while asking "Aizawa will you clear off the table so there is room?" Aizawa nodded and stacked the presents and sat then on the counter and sat back down with everyone.
after everyone ate and played a few video games of course Yagi and Enji got a little to much into it but when Enji and Nemuri played Enji kept poking fun at her make up and the non existing wrinkles she had and it got her so frustrated Enji ended up winning, after that was the cake so they all sang happy birthday well everyone except Enji and Aizawa but that was expected, Hizashi blew out the candles and slices of cake was passed around and ate, next the presents, Yagi went first he got him a few CD's and a ukulele, next was Nemuri she got him a gold chain. Enji saw it and said "ha! i knew you got him a necklace." Nemuri crossed her arms and proudly said "i bet its better then yours." Hizashi grabbed Enji's present and unwrapped it to find a picture frame of everyone together and a pair of pants with stitched patches of bands on them and a few metal pins, Enji smirked and cocked a eyebrow at Nemrui but she huffed and looked away from him, Aizawa's mom said "now here is mine." and placed two presents in front of him, he opened the rectangle on and saw a black leather jacket in it, in the other one he found a brand new laptop, Hizashi smiled at all his gifts and everyone and said "thank you everyone i loved all of these gifts so much.". Then the door bell rang Aizawa stood up and said "ill get it." as he went to the door everyone started talking but when Aizawa opened the door all that sat there on the ground was a box and a note when he picked it up he started walking to the kitchen but when he read who it was from he stopped but heard Hizashi ask "what is is shouta." Aizawa looked up and said "its from your mom." Hizashi walked over and grabbed the box and note he opened the note and read it over when he finished he said "its just her apologizing that she couldn't make it." Hizashi then grabbed the box and opened it up inside was a iPod but when he turned it on it was a old photo of him and her, Hizashi put the iPod in his back pocket and smiled big like he was happy but Aizawa could see in his eyes he was hurt.
everyone continued with the party but the whole time Aizawa kept a eye on Hizashi. at around 7pm everyone was gone and Aizawa's mom cleaned up what little mess there was while Hizashi and Aizawa hung out in Hizashi's room, Hizashi was setting up his computer and recording equipment, Aizawa was playing with his cat but asked "are you OK?" he looked at Aizawa and sighed and said "i know i cant fool you so no i'm not it hurt she didn't come." Aizawa flicked the cat toy and watched him swat at the toy and said "i know it did, i'm sorry she didn't come." Hizashi kept setting things up and said "i'm going to find her." Aizawa looked at him questionably and asked "what?" Hizashi looked at him with a serious face said "i'm going to find her Shouta." Aizawa sighed and sat the toy down and said "i can tell there is no changing your mind, i'm helping you though." Hizashi smirked and said "thank you." Aizawa picked the cat toy up again and played with the kitten while Hizashi messed with his ukulele and did some practice recordings and set his podcast up.
