WE ARE NINE

⬛⬛⬛

Dear Parker,

I got the Barbie doll you sent me but I am still mad at you for ruining my drawing.

And sorry, I’m not sending you any gift for New Year because you ruined the drawing I was supposed to gift you. It had us playing together.. like we used to when we were six.

You don’t even play with me anymore. You play with those big guys who don’t let me play with you because according to them, soccer is a boys’ game. I get so bored alone at home. Mom doesn’t even allow me to watch TV because she thinks I’ll get glasses like Emma got in second grade.

Please tell them I play better than you. If not at tell least them I’m your bestest friend so they let me play with you, ok?

Love always,

Eleanor.
