Kankri wouldn't say it out loud, but he was worried about you. You could tell by the expression he had on his face once he examined all of the damage he did to you during the most recent session that he was beginning to feel some remorse so you came up with a plan.

"Kanny?" You asked in the after math of him literally licking your wounds.

"Hmm?" Was all he said as he examined a nasty bite mark he left  on your shoulder.

"I know that this is supposed to come naturally to you and everything, but what if I was in control next time?" You left the 'so you won't feel guilty ' off but he caught on.

"It w9uld make sense if we had a cycle 9r a system set in place where y9u aren't the 9nly 9ne 6eing marked during 9ur trysts."

You noticed he left off the usual '6ecause y9u are weaker' comment again. He's been doing it for a while and you were getting antsy about it.

"Karmel is home." You let him know as he groaned in mild agony.

"She w9n't 6e happy a69ut this, again." He thought back to the first time Karmel saw you this heavily marked and made sure he sat through a 30 hour lecture on taking care of your alien partner and it was hell.

Kankri stood forgetting that he was au natural for a moment before a "Nice ass." from you made him look down and blush in embarrassment as he found his leggings and made himself somewhat presentable enough for just after the act.

You were being dragged around a *ehm adult funtime ehm* store by Karmel who mostly grabbed candy red ropes and artifical claws for you to use for what she has said is revenge for all the marks he's given you. You really didn't think that that was the case and then she got all of these shibari tutourial books for you to look over. Luckily, you had the foresight to let Kankri know before hand that Karmel insisted on him being tied up for you safety so he could deal with whatever demons he had before you two started a week later. Rules were put in place after the first month when you two just started and Karmel stepped in to basically look after mostly your health but also his in a more 'i'm already here, might as well' sort of way. You thought back to about two months before when you and Karmel were walking the halls of the university:

'Yeah, but-'

'Then no it isn't. But I don't know what he feels, so st8ying like this might be best.' 

'I don't mind being roughed. You know he becomes twice as gentle with me afterwards like I'm going to shatter to a million pieces but he looks like he's the one that will. I don't want him to hurt because of me.'

"N9 n9 n9, what did I d9. (y/n) please wake up, please. I can't l9se y9u please." Kankri was trying to resusitate you.

Things had gone awry and you both got carried away and now you could be completely broken because of him and he couldn't do anything about it. The EMT's that Kankri had called for finally came and more successfully brought you back to the living. His cheeks were stained with his tears as Karmel rode with you to the hospital and he had to relive everything that had happened for the last hour to a troll psychiatrist to make sure he was safe to leave out in the world which was determined that he was through some miracle.

"We can't 6e all9wed t9 6e the same. It w9uldn't 6e right." He sighed and looked abjectly defeated.

"And the w9rse case scnari9?"

"Karmel to+ld me, remember I'm up here shado+wing fo+r my degree. Any way, Karmel said no+t to+ do+ anything rash while no+ o+ne is there because (y/n) wo+n't fo+rgive yo+u fo+r jumping ship o+n them." Porrim paused listening to someone speak. "Kan, get yo+ur ass up here they're awake."  

Kankri hung up the phone and looked to the psychiatrist who nodded and grabbed her things to leave while he went up to (y/n)'s room to get some clothes for you.
