Act 10 - Their Families

"Why do I need to come with you?"

"My mom want to meet you."

Ryan is sitting in the driver's seat while the bell boy are putting their lugage at the trunk. Ashley is standing near the front seat.

"It's a family holiday. Why should I come with you?"

"What do they know? You are my girlfriend. So they want to meet their future daughter-in-law."

"Fine then." She finally enter the car. Ryan's family rest house is in Zambales. The maid took their lugage when they arrived that is good for 3 days.

Ashley got shock when they enter the living room of the beach house. Pete is there reading a newspaper.

Lucy is also there sitting besides a little girl and a not so old woman. And the other not so old man with an eye glasses reading also a newspaper is sitting at the single sofa. The little girl saw them.

"Tito Ryan!"

"Alice." He kisses Lucy and his mom carrying Alice.

"Who is she Tito?"

Ashley smile shyly when they look at her. She cant look straight to Pete.

"Mom, Dad, this is Ashley. My girlfriend."

"Welcome to our clan hija." Rebecca said hugging her. She just smile. Pete and Lucy dont sit together but she fells jealous.

"So she's the model. She's not just pretty. She's beautiful. Maybe that's why someone get crazy over her."

Ashley knows now. Their dad knows everything. Thats why Pete cant say no to Ryan. Suddenly it become so awkward.

"Yeah. When I grow up Im going to be as beautiful as Tita Ashley." Alice say holding her hand. Ashley smiles at her.

"Well, Im going to show her her room. Interogate her later." Ryan said laughing before putting his arm around her shoulder.

Once he close the door she started throwing pillows at him.

"Ashley stop!"

"Why Ryan? Why did you brought me here? To show me your family? To show me what kind of kid is Alice? That Im going to wreck a perfect family? Is that it?"
