"Awaken..." I heard the voice again. It was like a command. I opened my eyes and I was no longer in the cloning chamber. I was on Aqualad's lap and he was staring down at me.
"What's going on?" I asked, sitting up and looking around. The other boys were standing off to the side and the alien things were surrounding us. I stood up with Aqualad's help and stared at the alien-man that had a lab coat. "Where are we?"
"We're getting out of here," Aqualad said and Dr. Desmond walked between the aliens.
"You are not going anywhere. I'm not done with you, Frost." He drank a blue vile of something and he started changing. His skin turned blue and his veins popped out. He grew twice his size and he personally scared me.
"Okay, can we get out of here now?" The boys all nodded. I turned back to Dr. Desmond just in time as he charged at me. He grabbed me by the neck and jumped through the ceiling and threw me into a wall. I groaned and lifted myself off the ground. I looked at the pillars on the sides that held the ceiling up. This might work...
"Robin!" I called him over to me and pointed to the pillars. "Tell Aqualad and Kid!" He nodded and told them the plan. I walked to the center of the room and closed my eyes and felt a cool breeze blow over me. As I opened my eyes and sprayed four of the pillars with ice. I breathed out and turned over to where the boy and Dr. Desmond were fighting.
"Hey, you!" The boy turned to me and I weakly pointed to the pillars. He nodded and jumped in front of one of the pillars and ducked when Dr. Desmond swung at him. He broke the pillar and the boy moved on to the next one, taking out everyone and throwing Dr. Desmond into the wall. We all stood in front of a big X covered in water. Dr. Desmond jumped up then landed on the X and Aqualad electrocuted the water and Robin threw discs at the last remaining pillars, making it collapse. I stood in the middle, between Kid Flash and Aqualad as we ran away from the falling ceiling. The two boys wrapped their arms around me, protecting me from the falling debris.

I looked up at the moon after the boys removed the big rock from above us. I stared at the brightly lit moon that I hadn't seen in years. I stepped away from the rocks, still staring up at the moon. I could feel the cool night air on my skin and it felt amazing. Then at the worst moment, I felt a stinging pain in my side.
"So... I might have just remembered that I might have some broken ribs," I said kneeling down, a hand on my side. "Yep, defiantly broken." Aqualad ran to my side and laid a hand on my shoulder.
"Are you alright?" I nodded and with his help, stood up. I placed my hand to my broken ribs and ice spread from my fingertips. I noticed Aqualad staring at me in wonder and a hint of confusion.
"Homemade ice pack. Also will keep me from jostling them too much." He nodded with intrigue. I looked away from the Atlantian and back toward the sky with a smile.
"So who exactly are you guys?" I asked turning back to the group, Aqualad now moving back to his friends. I was confused by the mixed information I had already gotten and needed answers.
"Well this is Robin, Kid Flash, Superboy, and I am Aqualad. We had come here to investigate a fire and ended up finding you along with Superboy." Aqualad explained and I sighed turning back to the moon. I had always loved looking out into space because there were endless possibilities out there that I could explore.
In the middle of my thoughts, I caught a moving figure in the moon, but it was not like a bird or a plane. Slightly scared, I moved behind a rock and hid there while the others stood there ground. I peaked over the bolder I hid behind and watched as the blue boy scout landed in front of the four boys along with other members of the Justice League. I notice some new faces along with old ones and could not help the smile the crept up my face at the sight of familiar faces.
"Explain." I heard the rough voice of none other than the Batman. A frozen tear slipped down my face at the sight of him and I sat frozen. I could not run to him or even move my lips to call out to him. I wanted to hug him but I was also convicted to stay where I was, afraid of how the dark night would react.
The boys began explaining what happened and I noticed both Batman and Superman glancing over in my direction while they listened until Batman stopped them.
"Pause. Whoever is hiding behind the rock, show yourself." The other members of the League looked over in my direction and I sighed knowing I had to come out. I pushed myself off the ground with a groan and walked out of my dark corner toward the bat and kryptonion.
"Identify yourself."
"Wow Batsy, I know it's been a while since you seen me but have I really changed that much?" I noticed most of the league freeze. I was staring Batman in his eye slits and could see the grief in his emotionless face.
"Sorry it's been so long, I've kinda been held up." I tried to joke but it clearly did not lighten the mood. I honestly don't know why I'm surprised that's how they reacted. They were seeing me at my worst. My white hair was dirty with blood and dirt and what little clothing I had was torn in places and to say the least I looked like a mess.
"Kyra?"
"It's me, Daddy, I'm back."
