I woke up the next morning hearing the front door squeak open, then slam closed. I sat up in the bed. I was alone. Logan was nowhere to be seen.

"Logan?" I said, my voice hoarse. I waited, but no response came. I said his name a little louder, but I was left with silence once again.

I stood from the bed and pulled my wrinkled shirt down to my thighs. (Logan was a rough cuddler)

I opened the door of the room. It loudly squeaked, causing me to wince. "Logan?" I said again.

The sound of drawers opening and closing caused me to start shaking. That wasn't Logan, was it?

I quickly pulled my long hair into a ponytail. If I was going to have to fight someone, I didn't want my hair in my face.

The room was empty of weapons, so my fear meter went off the chart.

I slowly tiptoed to the door once again and peeked out. In the living room was a tall burly man in a white suit, wearing sunglasses. He was walking around the living room, searching for something on the couch.

Now's my chance!

My body went into attack mode. I was going to hit this guy with anything I could find. I grabbed a boot from the corner and charged out of the room. The man turned in my direction. Now! I jumped over the couch and slammed the boot down on to the man's head. I slammed onto the ground before him, the boot flying in the air, then falling in the corner.

"Ahhh!" He screamed and fell to his knees. He rubbed his head viciously. He tore his glasses off his face and glared at me. "What the hell are you doing?!" He yelled.

"Who the hell are you?!" I yelled standing.

"I'd ask you the same thing! How dare you hit me in the head like that?! You could've killed me!"

"Fuck that! Get out of here or I'll call the police!"

"Logan!!" The man yelled.

I could hear footsteps storming down the hall. The front door swung open. There was Logan, looking as sexy as ever in his gorgeous black suit. "Tim-" Logan's mouth closed as soon as he saw my face.

"Who the hell is this chick, Logan?! She almost cracked my head open!" The man named Tim yelled.

"Who is this creep, Logan! He was going to steal from us!" I yelled back.

Logan sighed and rubbed the back of his head. "Both of you calm down. Bunny, this is my work buddy, Tim. Tim this is my girlfriend, Bunny."

"Hannah," I corrected.

"Bunny, Tim wasn't stealing. I told him to get something for me but he's an idiot so he made it harder than it really was. Everything's fine. Right?"

Tim and I glared at each other once more, then nodded.

Logan came over to me and took my hand. "Wait here, Tim." Logan pulled me into the bedroom and sat me on the bed. "Sorry, I was going to come back before you woke up."

"Why'd you leave?"

"Tim called me in about an emergency. Apparently, he found Chloe trying to sneak in this morning. We had to fire a few of our guards today. They're very easily led on and let her in."

"She's gone now, right?"

"Yeah, but now she knows I work here. She knows you're here too."

"How?!"

"I'm not sure. She's a lot smarter than she looks. It's all settled now and we're going to step up our security. Anyway, let's get you dressed. Today, you'll be with Bethany, Tim's personal assistant. She's going to show you around while I'm working."
