Chapter 2

A/n: just to let you guys know I'm going to do a time skip to were Landon ran off

I wake up to something ringing throughout the school, I look at my phone to see what the time it was, it was 3:00 in the morning. I got out of bed and walked out if my room. I saw Lizzie and Josie standing outside their door. "What's going on?" I asked they looked at me and shrug their shoulders. "We don't know," Josie said. I nodded my head and walked past them, I heard their footsteps behind me. We walked down the stairs and saw Dr. Saltzman office open. We walked a little closer to it and saw him talking to some guy, I'm guessing who is the sheriff. Lizzie and Josie walked in there, "Dad what's going on?" Josie asked. "Girls, what are you guys doing up?" He asked ignoring her question. "Dad answer the question. Why is sheriff Donovan here?" Lizzie, this time asked. "Heaven, come in here I know you're out there," Alaric said making me walk into his office. Sheriff Donovan looked at me and then look back at Alaric. "Ric, I need to speak to you and Heaven." He said looking at both of us. "Um, girls why don't you go on back to bed?" Alaric suggests to them, they nodded their heads and left.

Alaric looked at me. "Heaven sit down." He said t me. I walked over to one of the chairs. "What's going on?" I ask one of them. Sheriff Donovan and Alaric looked at me. Sheriff Donovan clears his throat. "I um have some questions for you about some of your previous foster homes." He said leaning on Alaric's desk. "Um? okay? what do you want to know? I know a lot of things from my foster homes." I said. "Your mother asked me to look in on you and when I went to look for your foster documents, they showed up missing, do you know anyone that wouldn't want you to be exposed to others?" He asks. I started to think hard. As I started to remember somethings in my foster homes, I got a memory.

(Memory)

I was standing next to one of my old foster parents, they were smiling and hugging each other, they looked happy. "Heaven, dear, come now. We got something to tell." Chrissy, my foster mother said. I nodded my head, and followed them into the living room, I saw Clover, my foster sister, she's only a year or two older than me sitting on the floor reading a book. "Clover, honey come here please." Christian my foster father said patting a seat next to him. I took one of the chairs that Chrissy took from the dining room and sat down. "As you know, we go some places without you and we wanted to tell you but we couldn't but now we're going to tell you. Myself, Christian and Clover are witches, and we're trying to protect you from people around the world who want to get to you," Chrissy said to me making me open my mouth. "You're not going to remember this sweetheart but just so you know, we all love you no matter what, and in a few years we might see you again." She continued. l heard a strange language being spoken from behind me and the next thing I see is blackness.

(End Of Memory)

"Heaven?" I heard someone call my name. I snapped back into reality. "Are you alright?" Sheriff Donovan questioned looking a little concerned. "Yes, I remembered something from one of my old foster homes," I admitted. "What was it?" Sheriff Donovan raised an eyebrow in curiosity. "My foster parents Christina and Christian, they were witches. They erased my memory and they probably earned my documents too," I explained to them. Sheriff Donovan and Alaric exchanged worried looks then looked back at me. "Any idea on why they would do that?" Sheriff Donovan furrowed his eyebrows. "They said it was to 'protect' me from people around the world who want to get me," I bit my lip nervously when I said that. "Okay, thank you. If something comes up, I'll come and let you know, Ric" Sheriff Donovan says to Dr. Alaric. Sheriff Donovan excused himself from the office. "Heaven, there's someone I want you to meet, Josie can you bring our guest in here please." Alaric said as Josie brought a girl. I looked at her. "Heaven this is Scarlett Salvatore, Scarlett this is Heaven Lockwood." Alaric said introducing us to each other, I did a small wave to her, and she did it back. "She and her family are staying here for the night, I'm going to bring them into town in the morning, Josie can you and Lizzie show Scarlett to your guy's room?" Josie nodded her head, the girls walked out and went back to their room with Scarlett following them.
