Chapter 14 Grumpy

The next morning I wake up in bed, Harry must of carried me here because last I remember I fell asleep on the couch. Oh gosh, how embarrassing. I roll out of bed and head to the kitchen to make a cup of tea. I guess I should go for a jog this morning, attempt to keep in some sort of shape.

There is a piece of paper in the middle of my table.

   Thank you for a lovely evening of watching .... you sleep :) haha

Haha he is so sweet, I roll my eyes placing my hand on my head. So much for getting to know him better. Leave it to me to fall asleep. I should have gone with horror so I would have been afraid to sleep. I open my cabinet and grab a mug. I pour some water in a pot and begin boiling it.

I had another dream about Harry last night, this time it was not as intense. It was actually very cute. We were strolling through the park side by side and he kept bumping into me. He would hold my hand and intertwine his fingers with mine. I decided to be silly and walk on a bench with him still holding my hand. Then he tugged on my hand a little so that I was leaning on his chest. He wrapped him arms around me and slowly leaned in. Then he lifted me up and spun me around. "Harry! you tease." I swat his arms and he gently puts me down, keeping his arms around me. I tilt my head up slightly and whisper "Harry?" he smiles waiting for me to continue "kiss me." He leans in slowly and kisses me softly on my cheek.

I am brought back into reality with the sound of someone knocking at my door. I rush over, running my hand through my hair, oh great! I haven't even brushed my teeth yet.  I slowly begin to open the door and Brandon pushes it and invites himself in. "Morning Elaine!" he puts his hand on my head to tousle my hair. I wack it away from me and close my door sighing loudly. Why does he insist on bugging me.

I follow Brandon into the kitchen and finish serving myself tea "morning" I groan.

"Did you just wake up?....grumpy."

"Yes." I roll my eyes and turn to see that he is holding Harry's note from last night. I rush over and snatch it from his hands. "Quit being nosy! will ya?" I smack him across the head and take the note to my room.

"Ouch!" he rubs his head and follows me. "I'm sorry jeez"

I open the drawer next to my bed and place it in there. I turn to face Brandon who is staring at me with a smug look. "What?"

"Nothing." he smiles and heads back to the kitchen.

"Do you want something to drink or eat?" I offer him.

He seems surprised by my question "Coffee?" he asks. I grab a mug and pour him hot water handing him some tea bags. "Here, I ran out of coffee" He laughs and thanks me.

"Oh hang on!" he gets up "do. not. move. I will be right back!" and runs out the door. I sigh and get up I need to brush my teeth. I rinse my mug then go brush my teeth.

"Elaine!!!" Brandon yells and I step out into the hall still brushing my teeth. "What?" I say mouth full of foam. "I told you to stay put." he says placing his hands on his hips. I shrug turning around "well I needed to brush my teeth."

I finish up and walk back to the kitchen. Brandon is standing with his arms crossed blocking the table. Then he slides over and shouts "surprise!" On the table spread out  were about 7 different colored glass bowls. I turn and smile at him "Thank you, but why did you buy new ones?" He hesitated a bit "hehe right well..." he rubs his hands together, "I broke the ones I borrowed." I burst out laughing and he just stares at me arms crossed. "Okay, okay, it's not that funny." he nudges me in the shoulder. "I get it I'm clumsy, no need to rub it in."

I stop laughing and put the bowls away. "honestly Brandon, I'm not surprised."

Brandon grabs the rest of the bowls and hands them to me. "So, what are your plans for today?"

"Well, I was going to go out for a jog."

"Cool. Mind if i join?" he asks excitedly.

"Sure".
