Chapter 16: heartbreak

Jungkook's POV

"Appa. I miss you! Where is Eomma?" Jin-Ae was crying as she was on face time with me.

"Baby. I miss you too. Eomma is busy with the Aunties in Thailand." I lied to her.

"Appa, when can I come home?" I smiled.

"Soon baby. I promise."

"Appa. I have to go now. Grandma Jeon said I need to eat." I smiled and waved at the camera.

"Okay baby!"

"I love you Appa!" I smiled.

"Appa loves you too. I love you so much!" She blew me a kiss and hung up the phone.

I covered my eyes. I broke, my heart is broken.

It's been 3 months since Jae-Hwa was kidnapped. And 2 months since Jimin committed suicide. The house is empty, my heart is empty.

"Maknae?" I turned and saw Tae and Hobie Hyung.

"Did you guys find anything?" The shook their heads.

"I'm sorry, Jungkook." Tae Hyung placed a hand on my shoulders.

"We have no clue who took her or where they took her." I rubbed my face.

"Don't worry, we aren't gonna give up." I nodded my head.

"What about Jimin's family? How are they doing with his death?"

"They are a lot better."

"Good."

"Jungkook!" I heard someone yell my name from the hall.

And a slit second later Sana ran in.

"I think I might have found Jae!" She showed me her phone. "My connections said that she is somewhere in Jeju."

My face lit up. She is still alive.

I finally felt my heart beat for the first time in 3 months.

"Really!" She nodded her head. "Where in Jeju?"

Her smile went away. "That's the problem. I don't know where."

"It's okay. We can do a search. I can have the investigators help us."

I quickly stood up, but before I could take a step I fell.

"Geez, Jeon Jungkook." Hobie hyung helped me up.

"I know Jimin's death had a big impact on you. And I know Jae-Hwa being missing isn't helping but you still need to take care of yourself." My head was killing me.

"When was the last time you ate? Or even slept?" Tae asked.

"I don't even know." I placed my hand on my temples.

"Jungkook, we can go first. You rest for a couple of days and then come join us." Sana said.

"No. I'm okay. I just need to eat real quick and then we can go." I tried to get up but Tae hyung held me.

"No. You stay put." I sigh.

"Hyung!" He pushed me down back on the bed

"I'm going to call Jin Hyung." My eyes widen. As Hobie Hyung started to walk out.

"No! Okay. I'll stay but only for 3 days and then I'm joining you guys." They laugh.

"I have my private Jet, waiting. So we can leave when you guys are ready." Sana said.

" We just need to gather some men and then we can head out."

Everyone left my room and I was alone.

I picked up the letter

Sorry but she is mine now

I'll make sure she never remembers you, along with Yeonmin.

it's not me you should worry about.

 It's gonna get worsts

Jae-Hwa, where are you??

Jae-Hwa's POV

"Oppa! Food is ready." I place the food on the table.

Running in came Oppa and baby Yeonmin.

"Come here baby! Come to Eomma!" I grabbed Yeonmin from Oppa

I started to feed him his milk.

"So, Jae-Hwa? Do you remember anything?" I shook my head.

"No. I like have these dreams though. I don't know if they are bits of my memories but I don't see anyone's face" He smiled.

"Don't worry, just keep taking your medicine." I nodded my head.

"So are you leaving soon?" I asked, looking up at him.

"Yeah. Tomorrow. I'll be back in 2 days." He said, too busy eating his food.

"I'm gonna burp Yeonmin and put him to sleep." I stood up and walked to the bedroom. 

Once Yeonmin fell asleep, I started to get tired too. 

"Eomma!"  

I watched as the little girl  waved out of the car window.  

"I love you Eomma!"

my vision went blurry and then I was in a garden

I looked to the left and saw myself with a guy. 

His back was against mine. I watched as I kicked the guy in this groin. 

My vision went blurry again

"Come on baby." I watched as the baby was trying to stand up.

"That's it baby, come to Eomma!" I watched as the baby started to take her first steps

I started to cry. As I felt as if I was watching my own baby take it's first step.

"That's my baby girl!" I turned around and saw a guy. 

I tried to focus on his face but it was still blurry. 

"Jae, look at our baby. She already trying to run away." I laughed as I watch him chase the wobbling baby.

I quickly sat up. 

What kind of dream was that?  

Was that a memory? 

"Jae-hwa." I looked up and saw Oppa. "You okay?"

I nodded my head. "Just a bad dream causing me to get a head ache."

"I'll go get your medicine ." He walked out of the room. 

That dream who were those people??

"Here." Oppa handed me water. "This is medicine for your head ache, and take your memory medicine." 

I swallowed the pills. 

I kept seeing the little girl's face.

 My heart felt like it was being teared a part.
