Chapter 35: Not the end

"Good night baby." I kissed Jin-Ae on the forehead. 

"Good night Eomma! i love you." i caressed her head.

"I love you too. Now let's sleep okay?" 

I pulled the blanket on her and then stood up. 

I moved to look at Jin-Ho. 

He was fast asleep. 

Before I closed the door to the bedroom. 

I took a minute to look at them. 

I almost lost my babies and I didn't even know it. 

I tried to remember every single detail of their faces. 

I had already forgot them once. 

I'm going to remember everything to the point where I will never forget them ever. 

After a couple of minutes, I slowly closed the door. 

I walked over and sat on the sofa. 

I grabbed my phone and called Jungkook. 

"Hey how is everything going over there?" All I could see was his the ceiling

"Hello?" I rolled my eyes. 

He was probably still working.

"Hold on babe." I finally heard him say. "Let me finish this paper."

I laid down and leaned my hand against my pillow 

I sat there and waited until he was down.

After a couple of minutes, I was falling asleep. 

Jungkook POV

"Your Majesty , last paper for you to sign. It's just your approval for the new construction on the schools down in jeju." 

I nodded my head and looked at the paper. 

I signed it and handed it back to him. 

"Also, I'm going to need a report on the military, so please have lieutenant Yoongi hand that in to me by tomorow afternoon." The guard bowed and walked out of the room. 

I was finally done with my work. 

I grabbed my phone.

"Okay, Jae. Sorry ther-" I looked and saw her sleeping. 

Did I really take that long?

I just sat there and watched her. 

In two days, everything will be alright.

Tzuyeon's execution  will be held and jae-Hwa and the kids can come back home.

I've been working with the royal investigators and Yoongi and we were able to find those who were working close to Tzuyeon and Tzuyu.

We've locked up a few men,who had a big part in the kidnapping of Jae-Hwa and Ara. Along with the killing of Jimin.

I looked at Jae sleeping and smiled. 

"Good night Jae. I'll be able to hold you in my arms soon. I love you." 

I ended the call. 

I stood up and walked 

towards my room. 

I took off my shirt and jumped into bed. 

I closed my eyes and let out a deep breath.
