Chapter 9: Relaxing Day at da beach

Lia's P.O.V.

Today, I just want to go and have an relaxing day at the beach. I woke up, and de tangle Jc's arms and I'll wake him up when I'm done packing to the beach. I made breakfast for him, set it beside his bed side table and wrote a note

'Morning baby,

I wanna go to the beach with all our friend is that ok? I'm packing right now but FRIST eat your breakfast. Im going to invite people and do all the work. See ya soon

Lia.'

I set it beside the bed and started to pack towels, baiting suits, and all those things. I called Andrea, The fab 6, Brent, and they said yes. They ask me if they could bring some friends and I said yea.

Jc went downstairs with a smile on his face. That's the Jc I like to see.

"Hey baby" I said.

"Hey babe, thanks for the breakfast in bed"

"No problem, hey could you help me carry some stuff?"

"Sure"

We carried our things to the back of the car and headed to the beach. We saw some of our friends and some of the people I don't know.

"Hey Lia! Meet Jenn, Jack, Anthony, Rebecca, and Lauren!"

"Hey guys! I've already met the fab 6"

"Oh ok, LETS GO!" Brent shouted.

Jenn came up to me.

"Hey Jenn"

"Hey Lia, could I tell you a secret?"

"Sure"

She whispers

"I may or may not have a crush on Brent"

I looked her and I smiled and hug her.

"You two would be a great couple"

"Yea I know" she flips her hair and laughs. We went to go swimming and Jc was trying to go in the ocean but it was too cold. I splashed him and tries chasing after me. Once got in, he pulled me underwater. I didn't know what to do bit then he kissed me. A kiss underwater, off my checklist. Once we got up, we smiled at each other and Brent was staring at me. What's his problem?

Brent's P.O.V.

I just saw Lia and Jc kiss underwater. I still like Lia, but I could tell Jenn likes me. All I could do is stare at her and than Jenn taped my shoulder.

"Hey Brent!" she tried to say that in a flirty way but it's like a friendly way.

"Hey Jenn! What's up?"

"Nothing, I was wondering if you like to go swimming with me?"

"Sure hold on" I took off my shirt and Jenn was drooling.

"Come on Jenn!"

"Coming!"

I went in the water and It was super refreshing. Jenn on the other hand won't come because it's to cold. I dragged her in and she was freezing, she said, she didn't have a towel, so were sharing towels. I mean, I'd admit I like spending time with Jenn, but I don't like her, I like Lia.

Lia's P.O.V.

I saw Brent and Jenn hanging out, they look like a cute couple. Jc and I were tanning under the sun and than Jc said,

"Did you know Brent likes you?"

"Really? I didn't know"

"Yeah he likes you..."

And than we went back to tanning. Tanning was relaxing, the sun is your blanket. After tanning, we went to a nearby carnival, everyone needed to go home so we said our goodbyes and went to the carnival.

"So Jc, where to first?"

"What about that?" He pointed at the biggest ride of the carnival.

I gulped and Jc hugged me.

"Don't worry, I'll keep you safe by holding your hand"

We heard screams from afar and saw some girls hugging Jc and giving me death stares.

"Hi Jc!" they all said in a flirty way.

"Hi guys! How are you?"

"Good! Wanna go to bumper cars?"

"Sure, come on Lia!"

Their smiles turn into frowns and ran to the bumper cars. Me and Jc in one, and the other girls in another one.

We kept bumping each other, bit mostly my side. It like their trying to kill me.

We got off and went to a fairies wheel.

"Lia! Only 4 people could go on the fairies wheel so you can't come with us." one of the girls said strictly.

"Oh, ok I'll just wait here grabbing some ice cream." I fake smiled. Jc bought my lie and went with the girls. I bought ice cream, sat on a bench and ate alone. Man, now I know what Jc feels like when I'm with Brent.

It took them an hour to get on and off the fairies wheel so I got bored. I just went in my phone and texted Jc I'm going to the boardwalk. I guess he's having fun.

At the boardwalk, it was beautiful and I saw couples around me. Where's Jc? He text me back.

"K"

I hate when people do that.

I text him

"Where are you?"

He didn't text back. Is he ignoring me?

Jc's P.O.V.

I feel bad for Lia, but these girls want to hang for the day. I tried to text her back but they won't let me text back to Lia.

I spend the whole day with them and they were happy, but what about Lia?

"Oh Jc! Could I have your number?"

"Sure!" I told them my number and they said there goodbyes. I got there names and typed

"Britney 😃"

"Emily 😄" and

"Quen 😀"

I texted Lia where was she and she was at the boardwalk, watching fireworks...alone. Now I felt really bad. I went to Lia and she smiled at me.

"Had fun today?" she asked.

"Yeah, you?"

"Yup" she smiled.

I could tell she's hurt because we never spend any time together and we are supposed to hand out together for the day. We drove back home in silence, did our bed routine and I hugged her. She didn't hug back.
