She went outside, she looked everywhere hoping to see Klaus. She was feeling pain, anger, sadness, but also happiness. It was a mix of feelings, but most of them confusing. And all of them in a highter level. She was just about to give up when someone whispered to her ear "Following me, love?" Caroline turned around and asked "Do you have a daughter?" "Had" he replied with an upset voice "How?" she asked "I guess it isn't apropriated to have this kind of conversations in the middle of the street, don't you agree love? Besides, it is quite a long story" he said "I've got time, seriously I have nothing better to do" she replied "I'm your second choice then?" he asked kindly "Maybe" she said with a little smile "At least, can you tell me why are you here?" she asked "Isn't that obvious Caroline?" he replied, though she was still waiting for a direct answer, what made him continue "I heard about the witch, your friend... I needed to know if you were okay" "And now?" she asked "now that you have already checked?" "I presume I'm going back, to where I belong" Caroline looked at him and nodd her head showing understandment "Surronded by food, music, art, culture..." she quoted. He smiled, then they stared at each other for a couple of seconds, Klaus never forgot how pretty Caroline was, but it looked like she was becoming even prettier as the days go by. They both smiled and he walked away.

She took a deep breath as she turned around distracted so accidentaly she bumped into someone "Worried about something blondy?" "Enzo..." Caroline rolled her eyes "I'm busy" she said compleating her speech "I don't pretend to bother you" "Good then" she was starting to walk away when he said "Still, my accent is as good as his. No, actually mine is better" he said smirking. She shook her head as she looked at him, wanting to laugh, but she didn't "Want some company?" he invited "What for?" she asked a bit confused "A ride" he replied "Where to?" she was even more confused "New Orleans" was his final answer.
