4 - I'm Leaving Town

After Caroline found Enzo she went home, put her pijama on, layed in her bed and started thinking about their whole conversation, she didn't know what to answer to him so he said that he was leaving town in about 3 days, so that if she changed her mind she could find him. Then a tear started rolling down her cheek, then another one came, and finally she started crying really hard. It was obvious that she became a person with such a strong personality, but a strong personality came with a price, people die everyday now, she lost family, friends... Suddently she stopped crying because her tears dried out so she took her phone and called Elena.

"Caroline?" asked Elena as she answered the phone, Caroline didn't answer, she just stood there frozen "Car, are you okay? I can hear you breathing" said Elena "Can we meet tomorrow? Just you and me?" asked Caroline "O-of course" replied Elena "Bye then" said Caroline as she hung up the phone. She talked to Elena so coldly, but she didn't feel any regrets, although she knew that Elena was one of her few living friends she had left.

The morning after, Caroline woke up, looked at the mirror, her hair looked incredibly untidy just like a normal person would look like. She brushed her hair, she brushed her teeth and she cleaned her face. She dressed up with a blue top and jeans, then she put some make up on, ate her breakfast and left.

She drove herself to the Grill where she was supposed to meet Elena. Elena had already arrived there, and she looked worried. Caroline entered there looking for her when she heard her voice "Over here! Caroline?!" Caroline smiled while she hugged her "What's wrong?" asked Elena, Caroline smiled sarcastically as she answered "Everything is wrong" "And what is everything?" asked Elena "Me, and the rest of the people around me. I'm supposed to be 18 by now but I'm stuck on 17, my witch friend and my vampire friend are dead, my vampire hater dad is also dead, my hibrid ex boyfriend would rather spend his life hating someone than loving me... It's all wrong! Now I need to do the thing I think it's right, I need to breath new and fresh air..." explained Caroline, Elena looked at her trying to understand where the hell that conversation was coming from "And what do you think it's right?" asked Elena "I-I'm leaving town" replied Caroline "What about College?" asked Elena "I have more than time to go to College" answered Caroline "And where are you going?" "New Orleans, I'm going to visit Klaus" said finally Caroline.
