"Caroline..." Elena was about to say something but Caroline didn't let her "Yes, I know that this seems like a mistake but I feel like we have kind of unfinished business, and I'm not here to ask your premision, I'm here to ask to your support" "I support you Caroline, if that's what you want to do" said Elena "Thank you" replied Caroline while she smiled, then she said "Now I'm going to check up on Stefan, I sugest you to do the same, he needs us" Elena nodd her head as Caroline stood up and walked away.

Caroline was now driving to the Salvatore's house, the radio was loud but it was like she couldn't hear it beacause her thoughts were louder.

She arrived, got out of the car and knocked the door. Nobody answered like if it wasn't anyone there. She forced the lock and entered anyway. "Stefan? Are you here?" again, nobody answered. So she focoused, and she heard Stefan's breath. He was in the library reading some of the diaries he had left "It's sad, you know" he said, Caroline didn't answer either "My brother was one of the people I loved the most, and I barely mention him, and when I do, I don't even say the good things about him" continued Stefan "Are you trying to blame yourself?" asked Caroline softly but feeling ofended, Stefan smiled sarcastacly "But it's my fault" he replied "No! It's not" yelled Caroline "He died to save me" he said "Stefan..." "Don't, okay? Don't try to find an excuse" she stared at him and held his hand saying "You are not alone, I'm here, I've always been here" Stefan laughed "That's funny" "And why is that?" Caroline asked "Aren't you moving to New Orleans?" she took her hand back from Stefan's and looked at him confused "I-I" "I heard your conversation Caroline, I was there" replied Stefan "So how did you come back here so fast?" she asked "Running, the human blood helped" he said "Stefan, did you killed someone?" asked Caroline worried "No" she was relieved "Yes, I'm moving" she said finally "Then you are here to say goodbye" he conclued "This is not a goodbye, it's a... see you later" Stefan smiled and a tear started rolling down his cheek as he hugged her "I love you Caroline" he said "I love you too Stefan" she replied.

They talked for the rest of the day not noticing the time passing, when Caroline looked out the window and saw the sunset "Oh my god, the last time I checked it was 4pm!" said Caroline laughing, Stefan smiled and invited her for dinner, she accepted and stayed there for sleep as well. Neither of them slept that night, they were too busy eating popcorn and watching movies.

The morning after they went to the Grill to have breakfast "Such a great pijama's party" said Stefan joking "We have to do it again someday" said Caroline happily "I'll miss you as hell" he replied, she smiled at him "You know what?" she said "I ship Stelena" Caroline completed, Stefan started laughting really hard "I'm not joking okay?" said Caroline smirking "Okay" replied Stefan not capable to stop laughing.

After breakfast Caroline gave Stefan a big hug and went home to prepare her stuffs for the ride. When she got home she called Enzo saying that she changed her mind and accpted his offer. The next day he drove to her house to pick her up and took her to her next stop.
