Puck returned in his swim trunks. He pulled his shirt off and tossed it to the side.

"So you just keep swim trunks in your car?" Quinn teased, raising her eyebrow.

"I still clean pools, Q." Puck said. "Sometimes I swim in them, too."

Quinn smiled and watched Puck as he slowly got in the pool. She could tell he was cold, but he didn't want to show it.

"Alright, I'm in." Puck said.

"If you're cold, you can get out." Quinn told Puck.

Puck shook his head. "I'm here for you, baby."

"Okay." Quinn said. "But if you change your mind-"

"Let's just do this." Puck cut Quinn off. He helped push her legs in the water for a while.

Quinn felt tired, but she wanted to be walking by Nationals and prom, so she pushed herself to continue.

"Can I ask you something?" Puck said, breaking the silence.

Quinn looked at him and nodded.

"Can you even feel this?" Puck wondered. "I mean, does it hurt or anything?"

"It doesn't hurt." Quinn shook her head. "My legs were numb the first few days I was out of my coma, so they kept me at the hospital. When I went home, my legs felt tired for a while, but now I can feel them and I'm aware of them, but I'm just too weak to move them."

"They're getting stronger from physical therapy." Puck noted.

Quinn shrugged. "I guess."

"They are." Puck insisted as he moved Quinn's legs. "See?"

Quinn smiled slightly. "Help me out of the water."

"Yeah, yeah. Right after this." Puck said as he wrapped his arms around Quinn and slowly leaned in to kiss her.

When they parted, Quinn looked at Puck and smiled slightly.

"What was that for?" Quinn asked.

"I care about you, Quinn." Puck told her. "And I wanna be with you."

Quinn raised her eyebrow, completely surprised. "M-Me?"

"Yes." Puck laughed lightly. "And I get it, you have a lot going on lately, but I wanna be there for you."

"Can you help me out of the pool?" Quinn asked again. "I wanna go home."

Puck nodded slowly. He lifted Quinn up and put her on the edge of the ground so only her legs were still in the water.

Puck got out of the pool and wrapped Quinn in a towel. He grabbed one for himself and started drying off.

"I'm gonna go get changed." Puck informed Quinn. "I'll be right back."

Quinn sighed as Puck walked away. She cared about him a lot and she didn't want to hurt him.

Puck returned shortly after. He was in clean clothes and was completely dry. He carefully scooped Quinn up with her towel still around her.

"You wanna go get changed before we go?" Puck asked.

Quinn shook her head. "Can you grab my coverup? I'll just wear that since I'm gonna shower when we get back."

Puck put Quinn in her wheelchair and gave her the coverup, which she pulled on over her bathing suit before the pair left.
