Quinn rolled her eyes. "I haven't seen you in two weeks and you come here now and just say hey, baby?"

"I know you're mad." Puck began as he closed Quinn's door. "But I talked to Finn and he told me I should come see you."

"Finn should've kept his mouth shut." Quinn muttered.

"You look good, considering-"

"I almost died? Thanks." Quinn cut Puck off.

"I was gonna say considering what you've been through." Puck stated as he sat down on the edge of Quinn's bed and looked at her. "How do you feel?"

"You don't get to come here after two weeks of ignoring me and act like you never left my side." Quinn hissed.

"I've been trying to get things done with the apartment and take care of Beth." Puck informed Quinn. "And I have to go to work and do homework."

"Why? It's not like you've been going to school." Quinn folded her arms.

Puck took a deep breath. "I've been going through a lot of shit."

"And I haven't been?" Quinn asked.

"How do you feel?" Puck repeated.

"Everything hurts." Quinn answered. "But I'll be damned if I never walk again."

"What are the doctors saying?" Puck wondered.

Quinn sighed. "It'll take time, and I have to do a lot of physical therapy."

"Can I take you?" Puck offered.

Quinn shook her head. "No."

Puck looked at Quinn. He definitely noticed her cuts and bruises, but he wasn't looking at them, he was looking at her.

"I can't keep playing games with you." Quinn stated. "It's not fair to us, and it's not fair to Beth."

"Beth is fine." Puck insisted. "She's happy."

"Did Finn tell you she's afraid of me now? She wouldn't even come near me when they brought her over here." Quinn said as tears filled her eyes.

"She's just not used to seeing you in the wheelchair." Puck replied.

Quinn looked at Puck. "She's not afraid of Artie."

"She only knows Artie in his wheelchair." Puck pointed out. "Beth loves you. She could never be afraid of you."

Quinn bit her lip.

"You know she kept looking for you. When you were in the hospital." Puck told Quinn. "She kept asking me where you were, and trying to get her to go to bed was a nightmare."

"Why didn't you come visit me?" Quinn asked as tears filled her eyes.

"I did." Puck nodded. "Your mom called me right before the wedding and I left the church. Beth stayed with Finn's mom, and I went to the hospital."

Quinn shook her head. "You're lying."

"I'm not." Puck said. "I stayed for, like, three days straight while you were in a coma. And then your mom made me go home to shower and rest."

"Did you?" Quinn wondered.

Puck shook his head. "How could I rest when all I could think of was you? I couldn't lose you. Beth couldn't lose you."

"You really came to the hospital?" Quinn questioned Puck.

"Didn't you see the red roses on the side table?" Puck asked.

Quinn furrowed her eyebrow. "I... I don't remember."

"Those were from me and Beth." Puck said with a shrug.
