Chapter 3: The secret that has just been Found

I hissed as the words left his mouth.  I stared at his hand and squinted my eyes in embarrassment.  Will he think I was insane and leave me? No.  It's Ray he'd never do that....  Would he?

Ray quickly grabbed my hand and saq the blood, soon lifting up the sleeve of my jacket.  He winced at the side and quickly stood up taking him with me.  Leading us to the kitchen he quickly grabbed a rag and put water on his, pressing it into my wound.

I groaned at the pain and looked at him.  He wouldn't look up from the wound.  I wanted to touch him and tell him I'd be alright, but that'd give him false hope for I'm am not.

"Ray..  Look at me."

He shook his head.  I grabbed his face with my other hand and lifted his face.  He tried to pull away but I kept him in place.  He was beautiful.  Big glassy brown eyes that had tears falling down onto his face.  I frowned light and brought him closer to me, hugging him.

He tensed for a moment before relaxing into my touch.

"Ryan."

"What?"

"Why did you do this?  Why would you want to leave your fans, the rooster teeth company.... me?" he said, the last part quietly.

I sighed and rubbed his hair, "I have no idea.  I really don''t want to leave you guys.  I didn't even know I was acutually going to do it.  But, you saved me Ray."

Ray moved away a little and looked into my face.  He smiled a truly happy smile.

"Well I'm happy for deciding to come here first.  I don't want to lose you."

My eyes widened at his response and he gasped, covering his mouth.  He blushed a dark red and looked away from him.  I smiled and grabbed his face and brought it close to mine.

"I wouldn't want to lose you too."

Ray closed his eyes and I took that as a yes to kiss him, in which I did.  His lips were soft and thin, but they felt right against mine.  He put the rag down and wrapped his arms around my neck, my arms going to his waist.

We pulled away and rested our foreheads on each others, breathing a little heavyly from the actions from before.

"I never thought.. I didn't..  Wow" was all he could manage.

"I believe you meant, "I never thought you liked me that way," am i right?"

He looked into my eyes and smiled, nodding.  He pulled away and went for my first aid kit.  After I was clean and bandaged up he took my hand.

"How about we go somewhere," he said softly, looking into my eyes.

I smiled and squeezed his hand, "Why not?"

Ray and I spent the whole day playing around in the arcade and eating icecream.  it was a very fun day and I was happy to spend it with him.  My doubts were wrong before about us never being together.  

We're not official yet but, that doesn't mean we couldn't be.  I stopped walking and looked at him, him doing the same.

"Ray?  Will you.. go out with me?"

Ray looked at me for a few moments before smiling.

"Of course."

I grinned from ear to ear and kissed him on the cheek.  We walked a little longer down the sidewalk before passing a park.

"Wanna swing?"

Ray laughed and tugged me with him.  He plopped himself down onto the swing and awaited for me to push him.  I sighed and chuckled lightly at his childishness.

"You're such a fucking child, you know that?"

"Woah watch that language old man, children are around."

I shook my head and looked around, seeing that we were the only two here.  I started to push him and laughed.

"Man so many of them."

He tried to kick me in response but failed, making his swing go to side to side.  

Man, was I happy that he came today.
