Anav has been gone for three days now, Ker has started coming around again, flirting and pushing my control. Others saw it as the captain protecting the queen but i knew better.

I stared at the necklace, it's large pink diamond shined brightly, i wonder if Anav could really see me if he wanted to, I'll ask him when he gets back. The night air was cool against my skin, it felt like i could fly standing on the balcony, wearing only a thin short night dress. I heard a knock on the door. "Do come in " probably one of the maids coming for the last sweep of the room tonight. I thought she had already done that. "You look beautiful " i heard someone say, Anav isn't due to come till the next week, i turned around wondering who was in my room at this hour. "Do not be afraid, I only came to see you " Ker said stepping into the light. " What -" My hands moved to cover myself up, my gown was too thin and short to cover his gaze from burning into my body "-what are you doing here? ""Leave!! " i said my voice cracking. He stepped closer to me chasing the cold away with his body heat. "Come back inside, it's cold out here " pulling me inside, near the bed. " Captain Ker!! Let go of me . I'm fine now "I struggled to get out of his grip but he wouldn't let go. He kept staring at me with an intense expression on his face. "I've been meaning to tell you something. Kifumani, I'm in love with you. I've been ever since I met you, I want you kifu. " he said holding my chin so i could meet his eyes. "Wha- What are you saying? You know I'm married to the king, I am your queen " i replied trying to keep a cool face. He clearly wasn't fazed by my reply. " I know that you are the queen, but I've been watching you, his majesty doesn't not satisfy you. I see it in your eyes, your expression, you want me and you know it. I could give you pleasure beyond your wildest dreams " his hands reaching down just above my breasts. "I don't want your love!! " pushing him away, i couldn't stand his filthy hands on me. I walked away trying to put distance between us, he was pulling at my emotions, i can't let him win, I needed to get away from him fast. I turned around to order him to leave only to meet his lips as they crashed into mine, he held me in place like i was his own. No, I will not give him the satisfaction he craves, I'm not his plaything, holding my breath, I bit down hard on his lips. He pushed himself off him nursing his wound. Free at last, I run towards the door to call the guards, I came crashing to the ground, Ker pulling my leg towards himself. I tried to scream but he put a hand over my mouth, and started ripping my dress with the other one. Tears started blurring my vision, I kicked and punched him as he carried me to the bed, Anav's and my bed. A heavy mass lodged itself in my throat, making me unable to scream, fear and dread filled me to the brim sending me into shock, no one was here to save me, not even Anav. " Beautiful, absolutely beautiful, more than i expected. I see why the king loves you " he said staring at my naked body licking his lips like i was some delicious food, while I was trying to use the sheets to cover myself up. He pounced on me, startling me, i wrapped myself up the cover thinking of an escape plan. When i heard a knock on the door. Quickly Ker jumped into the bed with me, i didn't even realize he had taken off his shirt. Nala barged in just as he was trying to kiss me again. She gasped, making his stop and stumbled from the bed onto the floor. " She took off her clothes and forced me to lie with her, thank you lady Nala....for saving me " he said tears in his eyes. How did he do that. " Liar!!!! You came in here professing your love for me and ripped my dress off!! " i screamed finding my voice again. " You called me in only to find you naked begging me to fulfill your desires " he said standing behind Nala as if she could protect him. "Surely you do not believe this man!!!! Look at my shredded dress, i couldn't have done this, just to frame this good for nothing soilder"Nala came to me picked up my dress and tossed it into the fireplace "What shredded dress? " she said smiling mischievously. That's when it dawned on me. They were in this together. No one would believe me now, even Anav may doubt me. I didn't know when i started crying. " No no, it can't be ""What can't be? Your Majesty. You have had Anav for too long, now it's my turn " she said mockingly. "Ker!!! Run out of this room screaming, oh and throw you pants away. That would give it a more urgent look " she said turning her back to him. "But Nala -""Do it!! " she ordered. I covered my eyes as he took off his pants and ran out screaming.I quickly got dressed and walked up to Nala "If you think for one minute that you've won, you are sorely mistaken." i said my voice filled with disdain for her person. "Anav will never believe you, my word against yours "" I know he won't, but he isn't here, is he? He can try but the council will never let you live this down " She said as she left my bedroom laughing. **"Where is she!!! "Anav yelled at the maids as he made his way to our bedroom. I haven't left the suite since that night, even the maids were giving me weird looks, i didn't even answer the council when they called for me. I was not going anywhere till i talk to Anav. I stood on the balcony waiting for him, as soon as i saw him, i ran to him, hugging him tightly. He was shocked by the sudden hug but he hugged me back with equal hunger. I didn't know what to say, he had already heard the news, i just cried holding onto him. " I didn't do anything, Anav, believe me, he came in here and tried to lie with me forcefully. I swear i tried to run away " tears running down my cheek. "Hush, my love, don't cry, I believe you " he said drying my tears with kisses. "You believe me!! But how?" i said with happiness. "The necklace, remember " he said touching the gem. "i wanted to see you and reached for you in my mind, you were on the balcony when he walked in. I saw everything but i couldn't watch once he got you on the bed. I already started making arrangements to come back immediately "No no no. That means he didn't see Nala " He's working with Nala " i blurted out. He gave me a questioning look "Are you sure kifu? Lady Nala is of very high respect in Naru, remember that her father is very influential and his word is crucial in the council "" I know but you're the king. Nala did plan this with Captain Ker. "He sighed and gave me a kiss on my forehead "Relax, I'll see what I can do. I am leaving for the council meeting right now, I'll be back " he said reaching for the door. " Don't go, please " i pleaded my voice coming out tearful " you're the only one who believes me " "I'll do my best, but i can only do that if i go now, you caused quite the commotion while I was away " chuckling he left me with one more look of longing. It has been hours and he wasn't back. I was beginning to get worried when i heard a knock. Mali, my maid came through the door "your majesty, the council requests your immediate presence."I sighed, i could face them kowing Anav was there "if it makes you feel better, I know you're innocent. I never liked that man anyway, too shifty ""Thank you Mali " i said as she led me to the throne room. With a deep breath i walked in, head high. The entire council was there, even the queen, Nala and Ker, even his name brought bile to my mouth. But it was the look of resignation on Anav's face that struck me, standing close him was the Oracle, she never left the temple except a very important decision is to be made. I rushed to Anav only to be stopped by the queen, sharp pain rang into my ear as she slapped me across my cheek. "How dare you disgrace my son like this! "tears threatened to spill but i held them back.
"Mother!! She's innocent "Anav defended me. "Enough!!! "the Oracle said "now kifu, tell us what happened "I told them exactly what happened, only Anav seemed to give me encouraging looks. "Thank you. Now Captain Ker, what's your side of the matter? "Somehow he still managed to lie flawlessly, he even shed tears to make it look authentic. "Liar!!! "I screamed " you and i know that's not what happened!! "" Calm down, your majesty. I believe we have a witness "Nala stepped forward, sending a quick glance at her father. " Thank you for this opportunity to help my kingdom. I did see her majesty with this man. I entered her room to give her a report on how his majesty was doing since i met with the last messenger he sent. " she said looking downcast " but i walked in only to find her majesty draped over this young man. I was also in shock as he ran out screaming. I don't understand why her majesty would do such a thing to the king"I scoffed knowing fully well she was the best pretender I've ever seen. "Since when are you and i friends? You don't even talk to me, then all of a sudden you come to my room to tell me about Anav, how pretencous of you "After Nala made her statement, we were all excused from the meeting while they came to a conclusion. The queen didn't even look at me as she headed to her room. Ker and Nala snickered and jeered behind me while I prayed the odds were in my favor. The doors opened revealing Anav running towards me, fear in his eyes. He hugged me kissing me with fierceness I've never seen before."I tried my love, but they had already settled the matter in their hearts before i came. If i were the one that heard it first,it would have been different " he said urgency in his voice. I knew they voted against me, they didn't like me anyway. Nala's smug look almost made me throw myself at her. " Kifimani, you are hereby banished from the realm of Naru, you are never to set foot in the kingdom of Mitra. If you do so, you will be executed" the Oracle said.The dam that i was keeping at bay burst sending me to the ground " No!!! I didn't do it, i could never be unfaithful to Anav " my tears seemed never ending. " You will be banished to the earth realm, your tears, water, will be your chains, forever linked to their seas you will be. " she continued despite my breakdown. Anav appeared beside me, wiping my tears away but they would not stop falling. " And you captain have been relieved of your duties, never again step foot in Mitra. " she gestured to ker, and left the room, everyone except Anav followed her. I turned to Anav " but you are the king no one has the final say but you "" I know my love , I even told them about the eye of Bel but they didn't care, the Oracle said it was a grave sin and equivalent to treason, therefore you must be punished. But you'll have three days to leave the realm. " he said with saddness in his eyes.That night, we lived like it was our last night together. Soaking in our pure love, he is mine and i am his, nothing could shake his love for me and that was all that mattered. Anav stirred and sat up in the middle of the night " kifu, kifu!!!" he said shaking me "I've got the answer to our predicament "He explained to me how in the legends the only way to know what the eye saw ,was through a sacrifice of the hearts of people bonded in pure friendship. " So you are saying i need the hearts of two friends " i said hugging my knees." I can't kill anyone " "You have to try kifu, for us. This is the only way "he said pulling me into a hug."i know but i don't think i can do it. I am going to do the best i can "" Thank you my love for trying, don't give up because i will not give up on us ".We kissed desperately till we drifted off to sleep. The day of my departure has arrived and Anav and I inseparable, it killed him to see me go as it killed me to go. " Remember what we discussed " he said as we took our time walking to the throne room. There, with everyone present will my punishment start." Kifumani, step forth. "the Oracle said as Anav sat down on his throne. I stood up majestically for my throne, i made sure my last impression showed strength. I bowed before Anav and made my way to the Oracle. " Kifimani, you have been blessed by Bel, you have been given the gift of the crown, your affinity for magic still remains. Go Kifimani and never return. " She said, her voice booming through the room. I nodded, i was not going to give them the satisfaction of my chains - tears, water - i turned to the members of the council, the queen and Nala. "Truth will be unveiled, I shall return!! " i said, casting one last look at Anav, taking in his every detail, his aquamarine eyes curtained by long black lashes, his sculptured nose leading to his pink full lips, his broad shoulders that i have leaned on for years, his chest that i have slept on last night, our intimate moments came flooding my memory. "I love you " i said, staring into his eyes as i disappeared in nothing, i heard him say "It love you too "**Darkness. I fell into the abyss. I fell into something wet and cold soaking elegant dress to my bones. Cold. I felt cold. It was night time. I couldn't make out anything , so I searched for land. I spotted the beach some miles away and started swimming towards the shore. The moment i stepped on land, a hot smearing pain shot through my legs to my head, i scrambled back into the ocean. The Oracle meant it when she said the water is to be my prison. I couldn't get on land, all i did was drift on the ocean for months, all my plans of getting back to Anav seems to be fading by the day, I've seen lots of people on the beach but none of them radiated through friendship. I risked traveling back to the Realm of Naru to see Anav only to find that the queen was forcing him to marry Nala. "What are we going to do now? " I asked. "I do not see a way around the marriage, but i promise you, I'll never touch her " he promised. " I know you won't, but do not forget me or our love " i said staring at our bed. He noticed me staring at the bed and drew me to himself, kissing my passionately, "I missed you " he said in between kisses, i kissed him back with all the passion i had left, my life had no purpose except to come back to my love. We cuddled together all night, as the first rays of the sun broke through the window, i woke remembering that i should not be here "Anav, i have to go " i said rousing him. "Please stay " he begged. "I really have to go "as i reached for the gates to the realm "Don't forget our love " i said as i started disappearing into thin air. I surfaced out of the water. The thought of Nala marrying my Anav, sent shock waves of anger through me, i can't let that happen. "Katie!!! Don't leave me " a voice screamed. " Don't be a slowpoke Jenny "I followed the sound of the voices till i came close to shore, I saw two young girls of maybe ten years old. They radiated pure love for one another, it was alluring, it wouldn't let this moment pass me by. I had to plan properly, I smiled mischievously as i sinked back into my prison that couldn't drown me. I had to do it for Anav, no matter the cost.

This story once again takes everything into a different direction. I'm posting this right before running out but I think that it was well done. I'll try to come back and fix the formatting. I'm a bit busy and stressed right now.
