Johnny kept his one sided love for years. Now that the man he fell in love with is back in Korea, will he ever make his move on him?
Ten's now back in Korea. And he came back to fulfill his promise to his bestfriend.
But then again, love can never...
He kept pacing around the office floor for a few minutes or so.
He was stressed.
Stressed out by means he was shocked to see one of the names of the applicants who got accepted in their modeling branch a few months ago was the same person whom he fell head over heels in love with back in college.
Johnny Seo. He had everything. Born from a prominent family, the only heir to their company, which he successfully took over and passed their family's records beyond their previous success.
A man with a big and kind heart. Helped a lot of people who had so many hardships and sufferings in life. Talk about humble and giving. Because of this, those people whom he helped thanked him and became loyal employees of his company which it had expanded to so many branches from modeling, business, marketing and many more.
But right now this man was frantic and stressed out because he just couldn't get over the late information.
Lee Young Heum. Also known as Ten.
They met each other back in college. Johnny was taking a course related about Business and Management while Ten focused on Language and Fashion. Obviously they didn't have the same course that they would always be next to each other but they had a lot of minor classes together.
-Flashback-
"ummmm is this seat taken?" A student approached Johnny while he was writing some notes. He looked up at the boy which he saw for sure that he was Thai, had amazingly stylish hair to top it off with a couple of piercings on his ear. He was dumbstruck. Not really sure why but he gestured the seat right next to him.
"No, but you can take the seat right next to me" Johnny replied, offering the vacant desk. The boy flashed a cheerful and smile. His heart was struck. What an angelic smile he thought.
"Thanks, I'm Ten btw." He reached out at Johnny and they both shook hands. God his hands are soft and small.
"Johnny Seo, but you can just call me Johnny"
"Ahhhhh If I say my real name it's a bit long but its Chittaphon Leechaiyapornkul" He smiled.
"Wow, that's a mouthful. I'm good with Ten" Johnny said.
From that moment on they started hanging out during their vacant time, would eat lunch together, even stay at each other's dorm room to help each other with homework on the same classes they had.
As time flied they got super close. Johnny knew about Ten's struggles and family problems. His family had financial problems and couldn't even support him for his education. The main reason why Ten started college in Korea was because he was able to pass as a 100% scholar and he even had to work part time at a local bar near their school in order to live off his personal living expenses. Amazed at how diligent and responsible Ten was , Johnny secretly became acquainted with the owner of the local bar he worked in and hand a small partnership dealing to help increase Ten's pay by triple.
Little that he know he was slowly starting to fall and trip for Ten. His feelings grew stronger when they had a year in college where they hand a conversation about job applications.
"So Seo, I heard you'll be taking over your father's company?" Ten grabbed Johnny's bag as they sat under a tree at their school's field.
"Ahhh in future time I guess. I mean I'm not ready to handle that much stress at a very young age even if my father does say that I'm quite capable enough" He sat near Ten while ten on the other hand was busy setting up their lunch.
During their lunch, ten would always make a lot of delicious food for Johnny. And he himself would enjoy the other's cooking which he never complained about it. He honestly felt like a husband being fed by his wife. Talk about delusional.
"I'm sure you'll do great as the future president on your family's company." Ten smiled at Johnny and boy, he just blushed beet red.
"How about you Ten? Any plans?"
"Say Ahhhhh first" Ten interrupted him before he gave an explanation. And so Johnny complied as he opened his mouth earning a taste of tens homemade cooking. Its was heaven in both ways.
"I honestly plan to go home after college, might need to work there as soon as I've settled some of my parents debt" He was busy fed Johnny once more before taking a bite of his own.
"Wait, you're going back to Thailand?" Saddened by the upbringing news, he gave Ten a worried look, who knows whats going to happen to him when he heads back home.
Ten didn't answer him as he sighed and leaned on Johnny's shoulder. It was a heart racing moment. He didn't expect his bestfriend to do that. And more, he didn't want Ten to leave because sooner or later he has to decide whether if he's going to confess to him or not. They stood like that for a while. Enjoying the silence and their rhythmic breathing all together. Slowly, Johnny gathered enough courage to lean his head on Ten's.
His hair was soft just like he imagined. God he always wanted to run his fingers on his bestfriend's hair but this was close enough for him.
"Please don't go" Johnny broke off the silence. Covering a pang of pain from his voice.
Ten didn't leave his shoulder but simply replied "I'll come back to Korea when I'm done with my problems back home John, I promise."
No pinky promises. But they trusted each other from those words alone.
