Planet Or Plastic?

Passionately diving in the sea, I cannot believe what I am seen;

Large amounts of waste, sunken and floating.

All of it makes me think about what is happening;

Numerous tones of plastic are regularly thrown away,

Even after being used for just one day.

They fill the oceans and will need hundreds of years to decay.

One turtle is lying dead in front of me,

Rolled up in a net used in fishery.

Plastic pollution has huge effects on our planet;

Liberates toxins that damage the environment

And animals are killed by the garbage they ingest.

Such a catastrophe has to finish.

The current plastic consumption must diminish.

It is and objective we need to accomplish.

Consciousness, collaboration and change will fulfill our wish.
