5 days I missed. I'm going back to Hogwarts today. I take a deep breathe and start walking into the great hall, holding my head high like a Mikaelson
Like a movie it falls silent as I walk to James and Alice. I sit down and grab a apple as conversations start again. I can tell from James face he can't tell if he wants to slap me or hug me. He chose hugging which I'm thankful for. "You left me to suffer for 5 days" he complains as the morning mail comes.

"You can't stay at the school, my parents will be happy to have you. Its Christmas" (AN sorry for the time skip but I didn't feel like anything major happened. I have a idea but idk. I was thinking of having a few chapters where they go back in time to Harrys 5th year what do you think???) "Are you sure your parents wouldn't care. I'm fine staying here" "Jamies is your girlfriend spending Christmas with us" Lily laughs as she runs out of the portrait. James turns a bright shade of red and laughs. "One more day till break" Soon we both head to bed laughing. I lay awake for a while before finally drifting off to sleep.

"Hope, Hope wake up" someone whispers in my ear. I open my eyes to see James standing above me. I'm about to scream when his hand covers my mouth. "I couldn't sleep, let's go get hot chocolate" he whispers. I roll my eyes but agree to go with him for some crazy reason. I sneak out of my dorm lucky they are all heavy sleepers. "Come on" James whispers as we rush down the corridors. Suddenly James grabs me and pulls me into an abandoned classroom. The old guy with a cat comes by mumbling about children out of bed. We wait for a few minutes then race down the halls. James stops at a painting of fruit and starts to tickle the pear. I give him a weird look but the painting moves opening to the kitchen. House elves rush around making breakfast. "Milly" James shouts causing one to rush over to us. "M-master James what can I get for you" "you don't need to call me master but can we have some hot chocolate" he replies. Soon enough to steaming mugs of hot chocolate arrive. Let's play 20 questions while we wait.

I think I've learned a lot about James from it. He has 10 cousins and wants to be a professional Quidditch play when he grows up like his mom. Soon the sun starts to rise and I realize we spent the whole night talking.
AN I'm so sorry for not updating for so long. I have school and other things but I'm going to update at least every Friday maybe more. As I said before I was thinking about doing a few chapters when they go back in time and meet there parents and stuff. It will be kinda like every "next generation time travel". I won't upload the next chapter till this gets at least 15 votes and 5 comments. Thanks Anna
