A long, drawn out whooshing sound echoed as the four survivors were picked up and plopped in on the Entity's new playground, using them as marionettes for his new "toy." The group consisted of Claudette, Nea, Jake, and of course, the newcomer.
The atmosphere sent chills down the girls spine, making her almost want to just throw up. The anxiety, the tension. What was all explained to her back then, this was sick. Being forced to live this life over and over again just to fulfill some monsters pleasure? It had to have been a joke, a sick joke at that. But it wasn't. The sound of rusty metal and clicking buttons veered off to the right of the girl as she turned her head to see Jake waving her over. She quietly did so and crouched down and began to work tediously and carefully on the generator. This thing looked so old, like it would just give up any second.
"Hey... Jake?" The male glanced over in her direction and nodded his head while still listening.
"Do you guys think you'll get out of this sick game? It has to be really awful... living this life over and over again and-" She quickly felt herself being yanked down and shushed as a loud heartbeat slowly began to ring inside their ears, feeling it pulsate through their body. Almost like an earthquake. Hiding behind the wall that was closest to the generator, Jake peered out and saw their new playmate: "The Legion." He saw the figure stomp down onto the metal generator and then storm off again. All he could see was the black jacket and the white mask. After a while, he slowly got back up, tagging the girl next to him to follow and finish the gen. "Who was that?" Jake sighed and shook his head as he continued working on the generator until it finally popped and began moving quickly to the next one, the girl close behind. "That's our killer. The Legion. Supposedly it's a group of four, each time it's a new person. I'm not sure who we're going against though..." The girl shook her head and shivered as she jumped at the sound of a gut wrenching scream. "Claudette!" She yelled as she tore away from Jake's grasp and ran in the direction of the scream. "Hey! You're gonna get yourself killed!" "I can't leave her behind!" All of Jake's valiant efforts went to shit as he saw the newcomer walk straight into a death trap. "Please tell me you're getting something done Nea..." Jake thought as he followed behind the girl to keep a close eye on her.
Another bell rang out as a second generator was finished. Claudette running off in the distance with The Legion right behind her. Before she even knew it, she was downed in an instant. Groans of pain spilled out of her throat as she crawled away in an attempt to gain some distance, fully expecting to be hooked but to her surprise, he was just standing there, looming over her like a dark, coal tower. Illuminated by the mist and moonlight, A knife in his hand. A dark chuckle escaping his lips as he slowly walked away off into the distance. "Jake! She's bleeding out!" Jake looked around and nodded as he slowly began to crouch towards the downed female, only to look off in the distance to see the figure on top of a hill, just watching. Almost instantly, the figure broke out in a full blown sprint. "It's a trap! Get out of there!" Jake yelled as the girl finished healing Claudette, only to see a figure running straight at her. "Shit..." Was all that came out of her mouth before she felt a sharp, cold blade digging into her skin as she yelped in pain and bolted off in the opposite direction. He was using her as bait. He knew what he was doing. And honestly, he could care less about all the others. He wanted the fresh meat all to himself. And he wasn't going to let her go that easy. He wasn't going to let her go period. As the girl slowed down, she slid down a wall of what seemed to be an abandoned building. This area seemed like an abandoned resort. She moaned in pain as she began to look around for a box or something to heal herself until she felt a tap on her shoulder. Turning around, seeing Nea in front of her made her sigh in relief. "I gotcha. Come here Bunny." "Bunny..?" Nea stopped as she realized what she just said and shook her head. "I don't know... just go with it. Now come here." She whispered as she began to mend and heal the fragile girls wounds until she was in close to full repaired state until the heartbeat began ringing out again. "Dammit.. he has nurses..." Nea quickly picked up a med kit that was laying in a box next to them and handed it to her. "I'll lead him away. Fix yourself up and finish the gen. It's almost done okay?" "But what about-" "I'm a runaway kid. This shit is what I do." And with that, Nea sped out of the room, slamming a pallet down in order to get the killers attention which she easily attracted and led him off in another direction. After she felt safe enough, she finished healing herself and made her way upstairs and began working on the generator that she had almost complete. Another loud scream was heard as she looked out the window and saw Jake being hooked nearly right across from the building she was in. She felt her heart pound in her chest as she debated on what to do. She couldn't leave them behind, but she had to finish this. Fuck it. She popped the gen and was about to go jump out the window until she felt a dark presence looming over her. She was absolutely frozen in her spot, unable to move as she felt the heartbeat pulsate through her body.
"Hello Bunny.." A male voice cooed in her ear, it twisted her stomach into all sorts of knots as she slowly turned around to see a much taller male figure standing in front of her. He rose his knife to slash at her before he suddenly became blinded by a bright light that was shone in their direction. "Fuck off you sick bastard!" Claudette yelled as She quickly took the girls hand and jumped out the window with her and bolted away, noticing Jake had gotten himself off the hook. Another gen popped as there were only two more to go. "This... isn't fun anymore." Legions voice grew more sinister as he quickly broke into a full blown sprint at the females. Slashing at them both as many times as he could before he quickly became fatigued. "Go find a door and wait by it okay? We'll get the rest handled. Just stay hidden." Claudette whispered to her before she was downed once more in front of her. The Legion looked up at Bunny, and even though there was a mask covering his face, you could tell that there was a sick, sinister twisted smile on his lips.
"What's wrong... cat got your tongue bun?"
"Run!" Claudette yelled as she felt herself being picked up and carried over to a hook and slammed into it like a rag doll, hanging out to dry like fresh meat for vultures. She instantly bolted off, praying and hoping someone would help her since she was the first one that had made her feel safe and at home in this god damned hell. Her breath quickening as she dove behind a pallet, quickly healing herself before starting to go back until she looked off to her side and saw a box. She made her way over and opened it, searching for a bit before finding what seemed to be fire crackers. an idea instantly to her mind as she took it in her hand and bolted back over. Another bell. One more to go. The girl saw Claudette struggling to hang on while the Legion was just standing there, watching her struggle for her life.
"Hey asshole!" Claudette and Legion looked over to see her running over and a few seconds later there were flashing lights going off every which way. She quickly grabbed Claudette and got her off the hook and shoved her ahead. "This is me repaying the favor..." She replied as she began yelling at the killer with every profanity she could think of to get his attention. "You just made the worst mistake of your life..." Breaking into frenzy, he darted after the new meat that was set in front of him. Swinging at the girl but missing every time infuriated him. She just had to be brought in with these guys. If it was going to be like this, he would show no mercy. She continued sprinting like a cheetah on steroids. Even though she felt tired, she wasn't going to die. At least not that easily.
"What the hell happ- Where-"
"She just ran off Jake! Don't ask me! She saved me and then just left!" Jake sighed in frustration as he mended up Claudette and turned around to see Nea off in the distance following the Legion closely in case anything happened. "Nea has it. Let's just get the last one done and get out." Claudette nodded as she healed herself and followed Jake to the last generator.
Vaulting through windows, jumping over pallets like her life depended on it, she continued to run laps around the map as much as she could. Trying to hide in a sense or at least find something as a distraction to help her out. That's when she saw Nea off in the distance. Hiding behind a pallet, waving at her to go in her direction. She nodded and immediately made a 360 degree turn and bolted in the direction of the other female. Infuriated, the Legion broke into Frenzy once more, right up on the girls toes. Drawing ever so closely as he reached out and swung, but missed. Nea stayed hidden behind the pallet as the girl ran through and right before the Legion could land hit, the pallet was slammed down onto him, causing Nea to ultimately flip him off and bolt away behind the girl to keep her safe. A loud scream of frustration erupted from the males throat as he ran towards the girls. Once the final howl of a generator went off, a sickening laugh escaped from him as he turned around and went into the direction of the last generator, completely ignoring the girls. Nea stopped and saw that he was no longer there, pausing for a moment before her eyes widened in fear as she yelled at the top of her lungs.
"HE HAS NOED!"
"Fuck.."
"You have to be kidding me..."
"NOED..?"
