This is the second oldest song I'm going to be writing in this book. It's not very long or very good. The title is based off the title of a picture book I liked as a kid and the actual song itself is meant to be a disney-ish song about being "free". Very cliché, I know, but it was at least three years ago. It's certainly not one of my better songs but I just like it for some reason which is why I haven't cut it out altogether.
We're going on a journey
To where the forest meets the sea
Because there's an enchanted world outside
That must be seen to be believed
And if you don't believe in magic
Do you still believe in life?
Cos there's enough to bring you happiness
And enough to bring you strife
But I know there's something out there
Where the forest meets the sea
First you're splashing in the ocean
Then you're running through the trees
The world is full of wonders
Of darkness and of light
Of plants, of creatures, of mysterious lands
Of fire and of ice
Legends, myths and prophecies
Suddenly come true
There's nobody stopping me
And I'm not stopping you
But I know there's something out there
Where the forest meets the sea
First you're splashing in the ocean
Then you're running through the trees
Yeah, I know there's something out there
Where the forest meets the sea
I don't know where I'm heading for
But I do know I am free!
